    RebusCode Information Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

In 2005, Amitayu Basu and Samudra Gupta, college friends with very

disparate professional backgrounds, started a discussion.

0 Amitayu had been working late hours over the last few months, and was

really frustrated with his research vendors inability to react to his

requests fast enough. You see, Amitayu came from a consulting

background and had been involved deeply in the ERP/CRM explosion

and could not understand why similar efficiencies of scale werent

available to an equal if not more voracious generator of data Market

    Research.

0 He wanted to pick Samudrasbrain. Samudra, whose professional life

had been spent studying and implementing technology, had no realinvolvement with research at that time. After racking his brains for the

longest time, could not find any reason why technology firms could not

offer services in market research. There was no reason for research not

to gain from technology like other verticals.
