I hope that you all had a good Christmas and this New Year brings you good times. I thank you all for your support. I’m looking forward to working with you, and serving you for the next 2 years. I hope that I can do as well as Dave has. This new year has started out to be a cold one! Hot rods are on the back burner and family time is the norm. Let the smell of high octane fuel, the rumble of a v8, and the sight of chrome that runs through our blood not be forgotten. Though the next few months are typically slow for the Re- bels, there are plenty of things to do on your car this winter, such as fixing, tweaking, cleaning, and getting them ready for this car show season. With the swap meet coming up in about 6 weeks, it’s only a matter of time before it’s time for show-n- go!!! Hope to see you all at the holiday party on Jan 24 . Don’t forget about the gift exchange! Nothing says Christmas like stealing gifts from friends. 65 & older, it is $10.63 which includes your drink. Sorry
there is no alcohol served at The Ranch. They have a very
nice size party room so come and join us. Let’s give The

Hello fellow Rebels.
I hope that the holidays have been good to everyone and
that all is well. this is a great time of year and the snow
falls and covers everything in a blanket of white. The
holiday joy still lingers around the house as well as some
decorations that have not been removed and put away
yet. This still gives us all a sense of kind feelings and
hope for the new year to come.
I would like to thank everyone in the club for your con-
tinued support over the past few years as President.
Although I am stepping down from the board, I will still
be active in the club functions. It has been a rewarding
time and one of great joy and pride to be part of a great
club. I would also like to wish the new board members
luck and hope everything runs as smoothly as it has in
the past. I'm am taking a step back for now as to allow
other members to be part of the board and hopefully en-
joy it as much as I have. I hope they can expect the
same support for the club as I have received in the past.
At this time I welcome the new members, Mike Brown
as your President, Jana Pillsworth-Wood as your treas-
urer and Jim Jensen remains as Director at large.
Please welcome them as they take over the duties in
January. I'm looking forward to many more great times
and many more memories in the future.
Again, thank you to all the members for making this a
great club and great group of people to enjoy events
with. I look forward to the future and to new begin-
nings.
Take care, god bless and see you on the streets.
Dave.
Happy New Year to everyone. For those that voted for me
for the at large position I thank you so much. Will do eve-
rything I can to maintain and upgrade our club in any way
I can. -Jim Jensen
HOLIDAY PARTY JANUARY 24, 2014
AT THE KNOLLS
2201 OLD CHENEY ROAD
COCKTAILS 5-6, DINNER WILL FOLLOW
COST FOR MEMBERS IS $13, NON-MEMBERS $27
If you would like to participate in the gift exchange, bring a wrapped $15 gift and designate male or female.
Gift exchange rules: All gifts are placed in a pile, separated
into men’s or women’s, and all the participants are then given
randomly assigned numbers. Then the madness begins. The
person who has the lowest number chooses a gift from the pile,
unwraps it, shows everyone, then the second person has the
option of either taking the first person’s already opened gift , or
unwrapping a new gift of their own. If someone’s already un-
wrapped gift is taken from them they have the option of taking
someone else’s already unwrapped gift, or returning to the pile
of wrapped gifts. This proceeds until all the numbers have
been drawn, all the gifts are unwrapped, and all the stealing
has been completed. ANY GIFT CAN ONLY BE “STOLEN” 3
TIMES TOTAL, THE 4TH PERSON OWNS IT. The game
ends with the first participant having their selection on any
gift, except for the ‘owned’ ones. Don’t be shy, the fun is in see-
ing how many times the favorites are stolen.
