MotionCARE is a treatment plan to help reduce the risk of conditions associated with low levels of physical activity. MotionCARE programs address 4 common causes of inactivity; Pain, Alignment, Strength and Stability as well as Prevention of DVT post surgery.

Your MotionCARE program provides you with access to evidence-based products from market-leading clinical brands that address these five areas.

The five areas are collectively called P.A.S.S.+P.

• Pain – Pain resulting from an injury or an ongoing condition such as osteoarthritis can make it difficult to move freely and stay active. Specialized products that help relieve pain can help you move more easily and return to a healthier life.

• Alignment – When the musculoskeletal system is out of alignment, it impacts the body in negative ways. Bracing products can help the affected joint – or protect others – and allow improved activity.

• Strength – Optimal strength in key muscles is crucial to your ability to stay active. If you have to compensate for a weakness in one area, that can negatively impact another.

• Stability – Musculoskeletal stability is crucial to controlling pain and giving you the confidence to move freely.

• Prevention – With patients leaving the hospital sooner, thromboembolic risk can extend 30 days post-discharge. Portable pneumatic compression provides an easy to use solution for DVT prevention at home for patients with moderate to high risk.
