Tips

• Become familiar with “Released Items” from website

– 2005 and 2006 released 100% of items

– 2007 and 2008 released Independent Reading items

– 2009 and on, not releasing any items (Item Descriptors)

• For CR items, impress upon students importance of answering question that was asked

• Don’t “drill and kill” just before the test
