ABOUT USNutrient de�ciency, especially among adolescents and women, is a wide-spread issue in Bangladesh. �is is where Forti�ed Rice comes in and delivers essential vitamins and minerals missing in peoples’ meals and helps them get the nutrition they need for an active and healthy life, boosting both this generation and the next.
Rice forti�cation is the practice of increasing the content of essential micro-nutrients in rice and to improve the nutritional quality of the rice. Regular milled rice is low in micro-nutrients and serves primarily as a source of carbohydrate only. �e forti�cation of rice is a major opportunity to improve nutrition, especially in developing countries. With the technical support and guidance from DSM, the United Nations World Food Programme (UNWFP) and cooperation from di�erent ministries of Bangla-desh Government, this initiative will bring signi�cant change to the nutri-tional status of the resource poor people in Bangladesh.

ABOUT USIn the year 2000, AM Mango Pulp Processing Unit was established to make a positive impact on the then su�ering agriculture sector in Bangladesh. Commercial production started in 2005, in the BSCIC Industrial Area, Chapainawabganj. With the help of modern technology and Standard Operating Procedure the quality, employee safety and clean environment have been ensured in both the production and storage phases. On an average, 2000 tons of mangoes are consumed per season. Farmers here are bene�ted by the proper utilization of their main agro-product at right price. Skin and �bers generated in the production process are used for ca�le feed and fertilizer. Around 100 local workers are involved during the production period, becoming a major source of employment for the locality.
