The following summarizes observations made by REM IV Field Team Representative Gary Felkner during oversight efforts on the indicated dates. Summary tables presenting the sampling progress made by Eckenfelder, Inc., a photocopy of the field notes taken during these oversight efforts, and photographs of field activities are attached for reference.
November 20, 1989
o Observed drilling and sampling of deep auger boring DB-45 from 18 to 24 feet (completion).
o Observed drilling and sampling of deep auger boring DB-44.
November 21, 1989
o Observed drilling and sampling of deep auger borings DB-51 and DB-57.
No EPA sample was collected from DB-57 as described in the PRP Oversight QAPP at the direction of Glenn Curtis, RPM.
o Delivered EPA Performance Evaluation sample for HSL volatile organics analysis to Mike Watkins.
