INTRODUCTION

RazorFishImages was established in 2013 as the first photo agency and image bank serving the East African Union (EAU) and beyond.

RazorFishImages currently produces On Demand creative photography for individual corporations and / or their respective marketing and advertising agencies in the EAU. This is comple-mented by Ready to Use image stock relevant in the context of regional economies and priced well below international photo agencies.

FILM, PHOTO & VIDEOPRODUCTION SUPPORT

Our mobile Film & Photo Production Unit was developed to facilitate our own photography assignments but is also available to regional and interna-tional photo, music, video and film productions operating in the EAU.

The capacity to produce 220 volt power on board through a TrippLite Inverter System is complemented by a fully mobile Elinchrom Ranger RX Speed photo studio and Elinchrom Scanlite studio lights 300/600/1000 Watt, mobile communications and computer equipment as well as extensive expedition gear.

THE ULTIMATE MULTI MEDIA PRODUCTION UNIT

We extensively modified and transformed a heavy duty Land Rover 110 - 300 Tdi Defender into an advanced expedition conversion ready to take you anywhere in the East African Union and beyond!

As shown in the Interior & Exterior Load Schematics at the end of this document, a variety of equipment can be loaded and safely transported in a modular stor-age container system with each box not weighing more than 25 kg. This system allows for the organized and convenient configuration and distribution of loads according to final requirements.

OPTIONAL LOAD CONFIGURATIONS

The configuration described below is currently in use with RazorFishImages here in Uganda and can be modified to suit a variety of load configurations according to final client requirements.

• Apple MacBook Pro with 500 GB / 8 GB memory.• 27” Apple Studio Display to connect to the MacBook Pro.• Adobe Creative Suite CS5 plus additional photo editing tools.• Two 12.5 MPX Nikon D300S digital cameras plus accessories.• Mobile Elinchrom Ranger RX Speed Power Pack Battery Flash with 2 digital Freelite S flash units of up to 1.000 watt output each and 2 digital Elinchrom Scanlite light units in 350, 650 or 1.000 watt configuration.• Apple I-Phone 5 with regional and international roaming.• A long range Codan NGT-VR HF radio system with 100 Watt output and 8.000 km range, on a manual or automatic Codan HF tuning antenna.• Two short range Motorola GP 340 VHF radios. • A 1.250 Watt (12 Volt to 220 Volt) TrippLite Inverter system powered by the alternator through three 100 ampere, 12 Volt deep cycle batteries to provide 220 Volt Power. • Two 85 watt Shell Solar Panels to charge batteries in stationary mode.• A Katadyn water treatment plant.• Up to 12 storage containers of equipment, stores & provisions.• A 40 liter fridge and a 30 liter pre-treated water store.• Expedition gear such as tents, chairs, tables, etc. as required.

The vehicle seats between 1 and 3 clients and comes with an experienced Photographer/ Driver/ Operator/ Guide who speaks German and English, has 25 years of experience in Africa and clocked a total of over 600.000 km off road driving in countries such as South Africa, Namibia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanza-nia, Southern Sudan, Northern Sudan, Ethiopia, Rwanda and the Congo.

RENTAL FEE STRUCTURE

Option No. 1: US $ 280,- per day, unlimited mileage, maximum of 3 clients.

The above rate includes the following costs:1. Expatriate Driver/ Operator/ Tour Guide.2. Cost of Rental Fee for the Land Rover.3. Use of all on-board electronic, communications and expedition equipment.

The above rate does not include the following costs:4. Cost of Accommodation for the Driver/ Operator/ Guide.5. Cost of Airtime on the Car Phone.6. Cost of Diesel Fuel for the Land Rover.7. Cost of Accommodation (other than the on-board expedition equipment).8. Cost of other fees such as National Park and camping site fees. (all occupants & car).9. Cost of Provisions and General Supplies, Beverages, Cooking Gas.

Option No. 2: Negotiable per day/ week/ month, unlimited mileage, maximum of 3 clients.

Based on a final configuration required and a detailed clients itinerary we will be able to produce a detailed quotation that would include the items listed in Option No. 1 as well as the items No. 6, No. 7, No. 8, and No. 9.
