bopd(5000 wells with average depth of 60 m)

1969, Japan Development Co-opertion acquired 2D seismic in offshore Rakhine

Five wells drilled in 1975 at A1, A2, A3 and A4 Blocks

Essar acquired 3D in Block L in 2008 and drilled 2 wells in 2009

CNOOC acquired 2D seismic in Block M and drilled 2 wells in 2006/07 but relinquished all blocks after drilling

Daewoo discovered in 2003 in A1 Offshore Block Many companies has searched hydrocarbon using

extensive 3D seismic surveys. Late discovery in A6, AD-7 and AD-1
