Rajdhani Recitals Bimonthly bulletin of Rotaract Club of Rajdhani Volume 3, Issue 1
Wow!!! being a President feels different. I am being president for the first time in my life and I’m enjoying its all challenges and the responsibilities with such support from friendly
and dedicated members.
It’s my immense pleasure to be the 9th President of Rotaract Club of Rajdhani and I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the members for providing me the
opportunity and believing in me to lead the club. I believe and follow the famous quote “leadership is action, not a position” and I believe that in this rota year, our club will be
accelerating in better heights with mutual efforts of all our enthusiastic members following the RI Theme “Peace Through Service ”
and our Rotaract District Theme “Say Stay Strieve”.
It’s already two months passed of my tenure and it went very fast. I would say, so far so good performance with our efforts in these two months. We involved in around thirty
programs in these two months. It’s good to see that our club’s strength is growing with the increase in new energetic members. Thanks to all advisory members, board
members and general members for their effort so far and hoping to seek more in coming months.

Plastics are normally made from petroleum substances that’s why it is a non - degradable materials and harmful and synthetic. A plastic material cannot be destroy in nature and becomes one of the
most polluted sources in an environment.
Types of plastics substances which are categorized in following ways;◘ PET (POLYETYLENE TEREPHTHALATE)◘ PE (POLY EYTHYLENE LOW DENSITY)◘ PE (POLY ETHYLENE HIGH DENSITY)
◘ PP (POLYPROPYLENE)◘ PS (POLYSTYRENE)
◘ AND OTHERSt
Uses of plastics materials are increased or favorable to the humans because of it is easily accessible to them, low cost price, light weight, durability and versality and more importantly to ease their daily activities comfortable. But in doing so, people have forgotten or do not want to remember that how their activities of using plastic substances get increases more and more complication toward the environment. The simple carelessness habits of them that makes the nature polluted and causes bad effects on health of animals as well as their also. In doing so, like oceans where lots of the marine animals sustain their life get much affected by highly polluted plastics substances as marine animals ate the plastics materials as thinking it’s a jelly fish , and as a result most of them die due to it. In terrestrials, beef, cow, dogs (domesticated or semi domesticated) and others animals used to eat plastics due to highly polluted plastic environment and decreasing green natural surroundings.
Not only this, plastic substances get affected to human health also causing depigmentation (dubo in Nepali), miscarriage, breast cancer,
diabetes and other many skin diseases. Highly use of plastic has direct negative impact on natural beauty also as a result it has a great loss in tourism as well as economical condition.
So, how many are you really concerned about less use of plastic substances??? I know without plastics substances our daily activities might get suffer from lots of difficulties but it is good because difficulties are for good changes or that brings the positive results then whynot we tried it.
Hey guys, I know that completely banned of plastics substances is not possible but at least we can try the less use or recycle and concept of papers bags and there are lots of alternative option besides it.
Now, how many people are make sure about the less use of plastics bag after this little information??? Please … share your ideas and views and what do u think actually???
Hey rajdhanians … shall we ready for less use of plastics or paper bags concepts in our club???

Wherever one searches, whatever one searches for, one is looking for joy. Whether it is spiritual or material, whether it’s in movies or bars, whether it’s in churches or temples, whether it’s money, fame or power- the search is simply for joy.
The Divine is all joy. The Divine is existence, consciousness and bliss (or joy) Bliss is nothing but “qualified” joy. While love comes along with pain, joy that is devoid of feverishness, suffering and pain is called bliss.
Silence is a little serious, but joy is mischievous! You can’t have mischief if there is no joy- and Krishna is all mischief!Krishna is absolute joy and the embodiment of bliss. That is why He is associated with so much mischief, for mischief is the outcome of absolute joy.
People would complain about Him but the moment they came into His presence their anger would simply vanish. In the presence of pure bliss and joy all complaints vanish. You can have a big smile when everything is smooth in your life; if you can smile even in adversity then you have achieved something in life. That was the quality of Krishna’s joy; his smile captivated everybody.
Krishna was dark and extremely handsome. The word Krishna literally means ‘black’, and black also connotes mysteriousness.
Krishna is known as the universal Guru. There is a deep meaning behind the story of his breaking the pot (matka) and the butter (makhan) coming out of it. Here, the matka represents the body while butter represents the essence. Only when the outer covering is destroyed do we get the makhan. What covers our blossomed consciousness is the sense of limited identification, the sense that “I am the body”.
When we are happy, we “break out” by bursting into laughter. Similarly when love blossoms, we are “bursting with love”: that is the nectar inside us coming out as love; the handiwork of Krishna. Krishna is known as makhan chor;
he is the only thief who has been glorified! He steals the hearts of those who
experience love; those whose Sconsciousness has blossomed.
We also call Krishna chit chore, or one who steals consciousness.
He was born to Devaki (the body) and Vasudeva (the breath); when Vasu
the prana unites with the body then bliss is born. That is why
Krishna is called Nandlala; Nanda
or ananda meaning blissful.
Krishna- An Absolute Joy“I am the conscience in the heart of all creatures
I am their beginning, their being, their end I am the mind of the senses,
I am the radiant sun among lights I am the song in sacred lore,
I am the king of deities I am the priest of great seers…”
Joy is the sole search of every being, of every soul.
When Krishna was born all the guards present in the jail fell asleep, for these guards are none other than the five senses that keep you engaged in the outer world and prevent you from experiencing the love and bliss that is your nature. Krishna’s uncle, Kansa is the ego, who imprisoned both Vasudeva and Devaki; this means that the ego imprisoned the body and the prana. Ego is always far away from joy, for it tries to kill the joy. Children are so full of joy because there is no ego.The moment separation and division come in; they destroy the bliss and the beauty. Thus Krishna has to be carried away in the middle of the night because the joy or ananda that Krishna represents could have been destroyed by Kansa. To protect him, Vasudeva takes Krishna across river Yamuna, a symbol of love. With great courage, Vasudeva walked through the flooding Yamuna and just when he was about to drown, Krishna put his leg outside the basket and the water level stopped rising. It signifies that when difficulties come up to your nose the protection of God will always be there. The problems cannot exceed that level because after that, it becomes the responsibility of the Divine. In the presence of pure bliss and joy, all com-plaints and problems vanish. Life appears like a play, a game. Life is not to be taken too seriously. We are only here for a few days, a few years. So it doesn’t matter much.
Taking every trouble in life, as a chal-lenge, is a good way of looking at life. The other way is to brood over these troubles “Oh this is not alright, that is not alright” Complaining, crying and wailing are all foreign to joy.Joy creates mistakes, joy creates problems, and that is mischief- isn’t it? Mischief is creating problems, creating challenges.
Krishna would create many such challeng-es around him. If you look at Krishna’s life, you will see that there was always some fight or some war where he went. Any town he went to, there would be some trouble-but he would stand there, in the midst of all the trouble, smiling and laughing at one and all. From one angle, this sounds very cruel. However is you look at it from another angle- i.e., if you look from the angle of truth- then it’s just a game. It’s very much like watching macho men fight- watching today’s muscle men or boxers fight: one can see ten thousand people sitting around, yelling, shouting and enjoying them-selves as they watch these men fight. It’s a standard practice isn’t it?Life is somewhat similar to this. Everything is a play. Everything is a game. That’s why; Krishna calls it “Leela”- a game...Nanda means joy, ananda means bliss, and how can joy or bliss be another name for Krishna? - well simply because he is hollow and empty.
You know, what you have in your hand indicates what you are inside. If you have a gun in your hands, it indicates that you have fear inside and you are violent. If you have a flower in your hands, it indicates that you are like a flower. If you have a flute in your hands, it indicates that you are like a flute- hollow and empty.
There is fullness in Krishna, there is totality in Krishna. Krishna is the symbol of all possibilities. He is the total blossoming of all aspects of the human or divine. It’s very difficult to really understand Krishna’s personality. The rishis (sages) call him the full embodiment of the Divine because all that a human (a man or a being) can be totally – it’s all in Krishna.
