A listener called our Radio Maria office recently to say that he could never say “Thank you” enough for all he receives from Our Lady through Radio Maria. But he wanted, at least, to try.
It made me wonder if we can ever express enough gratitude to our Creator for all He has given us.

Dear children! “With moth-erly love I implore you, love one another! May there be in your hearts, as my Son desired from the very beginning, love for the Heavenly Father and for your neighbor in the first place - above everything of this world.
My dear children, do you not recognize the signs of the times? Do you not recognize that all of this that is around you, all that is happening, is because there is no love?
Comprehend that salvation is in true values. Accept the might of the Heavenly Father, love Him and honor Him. Walk in the foot-steps of my Son.
You, my children, my dear apostles, you are always gath-ering around me anew, be-cause you are thirsty. You thirst for peace, love and happiness. Drink out of my hands. My hands are offering to you my Son who is the spring of clear water.
He will bring your faith back

to life and purify your hearts, be-cause my Son loves pure hearts and pure hearts love my Son. Only pure hearts are humble and have firm faith. I ask for such hearts of you, my children.
My Son told me that I am the mother of the entire world. I ask of those of you who accept me as such to help me, with your life, prayer and sacrifice, for all of my children to accept me as a mother - so that I may lead them to the spring of the clear water.
Thank you. My dear children,
as your shepherds offer you the Body of my Son with their blessed hands, always in your hearts give thanks to my Son for the sacrifice and for the shep-herds that He always gives you anew.”
Oct. 25, 2014 Message to Marija
“Dear children! Pray in this time of grace and seek the inter-cession of all the saints who are already in the light. From day to day may they be an example and encouragement to you on the way of your conversion.
Little children, be aware that your life is short and pass-ing. Therefore, yearn for eternity and keep preparing your hearts in prayer. I am with you and in-tercede before my Son for each of you, especially for those who have consecrated themselves to me and to my Son.Thank you.”
Diane Whaley was there when Radio Maria US went on the air in 2000. For all these years she hosted “Thoughts on Je-sus,” a daily inspirational, as well as “Celebrate Life,” a weekly program on Monday evenings.
The latter was co-hosted by many Radio Maria friends over the years, including Nina Visconti, wife of Art Visconti, founder of Radio Maria US. Diane faithfully shared her faith and her love for life with listeners who will never forget her buoyant spir-it and joyful optimism.
Diane, from all of your Radio Maria Family-- a most heart-felt “Thank You”. May God and His Holy Mother, whom you serve so well, bless and reward you.

Radio Maria staff meets with priests of New YorkRadio Maria USA President Carlo DiMaggio and
Father Robert Young, director, met with World Family representatives at Radio Maria headquarters in New York City this September. The group also met with several priests from NY dioceses to discuss possible new programs and to seek their help in future planning for Radio Maria broadcasts.
The meeting was attended by (pictured above) Fa-ther Francisco Palacio, World Family editor in chief; Valeria Martore, coordinator RM NY; Vittorio Vicardi, vice president of World Family; Carlo DiMaggio, presi-dent of Radio Maria US; Father Paul Lostritto OFM, director of Franciscan Bread for the Poor; Father John Tino, Father Robert Young OFM and Father Richard Bretone, Eternal Flame of Hope Ministries; as well as (pictured below) Father Jonathan Morris, program di-rector of Sirius XM’s “The Catholic Channel” and an-alyst for Fox News and special assistant to Cardinal Timothy Dolan for media and communications; (pic-tured next to Vicardi, DiMaggio, Martore) and Robert Keighron, Sirius XM Satellite Radio.
“New York is renowned for its ever-changing cultur-al milieu and for being the capital of finance and fash-ion. Nevertheless, among its eight million citizens there is a vibrant and active Catholic community,” said Vale-ria Martore, coordinator of RM US. “Like many other
cities though, New York is often facing the hardship of priest shortage and the merging of parishes as a con-sequence of financial debt. These factors limit the par-ish hours of operation, obliging worshipers to remain home or spend hours of commuting to reach the clos-est Church which remains open also in the afternoon.”
“Through mass media and means of communica-tion, we have the opportunity to help more and more people to know God’s love and mercy because our doors never close,” added Father Young.

“Father Young, I just wanted to send you a little note to tell you how much I have learned after I started listening to Radio Maria! I listen to it 24/7 when I can. My faith and love for God, Blessed Mother Mary, the Saints, our Church. My knowl-edge has increased listening to all the wonderful programs that you of-fer us, that now I cannot stay quiet when I need to defend my faith.” Maria Dolores
“While listening to your Radio Mari-athon, it came to me what I could donate. You see, I was one of your $21.00 monthly contributors for the past 3 years, but several months ago, I had to retire due to medical problems and my income dropped to less than half, therefore forc-ing me to have to discontinue my monthly donations.
You did say over the air that prayer donations were accepted if one couldn’t afford money. I would like to donate a spiritual Bouquet instead. Masses 10; Rosaries 10; Divine Mercy Chaplets 10; Commu-nions 10; Salve Regina 10. God’s Blessings on your Mariathon. Thank

I have listened so far to each and every Apostleship of Prayer and Apologetics show. May God bless you for all you do. And, yes, I will be joining your donor list soon also.” Jim
“We recently raised $1,012 during our 4th fundraiser for the RM radio station in Ohio. The people are so generous. One family of 5 bought 5 items of ice cream and gave us $120. It was like that all afternoon. I love Radio Maria. I deliver mail and drive in my car 5 hours every day. I have not only grown in the knowledge of my faith, but have grown deeper in my faith and so much more in love with God. “Es-ther, from Ohio “I am in Mexico and just want to thank you for your weekly reflec-tions on The Divine Will. They help me a lot in understanding the Divine Will. Regards.” Alberto - Hermosil-lo, Sonora, Mexico

Chris Padgett identifies himself as a “very zealous” convert to Catholicism, who, along with his family, entered the Church in 1999.
He is an author (Not Ready for Marriage, Not Ready for Sex: One Couple’s Return to Chastity), songwrit-er, musician (four solo albums to his credit), speaker, and a dynamic wor-ship leader.
One of the most effective champi-ons of family life in the church today, Chris can speak from experience. He and his family take the call to “make disciples” very seriously. Among other ministries, Chris is involved with Steu-benville youth conferences and expert-ly speaks to young people about main-taining chastity in the midst of a culture that encourages otherwise.
Join Chris on Wednesdays, at 2 p.m. Central; 3 p.m. Eastern as he helps us face our sometimes desperate moments -- joyfully.
Fr. Don Tranel, development direc-tor of the Glenmary Home Missioners in Cincinnati, Ohio, will be the opening host for this new program, but expect to hear from many others throughout this series.
Did you ever consider that not all missions are foreign, that there are many counties in the United States that
have NO Catholic presence? The Mis-sioners address this need beautifully, and bring to life their stories of minister-ing to the poor and neglected missions here in our own US of A.
Follow these good priests, broth-ers, and dedicated co-workers who comprise the Glenmary Home Mission-ers as they take us through their labors of love on behalf of our faith.
• Joseph’s Way: The Call to Fatherly Greatness (new)Hosts: Devin Schadt & Brian GailSundays, 4 p.m. (CST) 5 p.m. (EST)Started Oct. 26, 2014
Devin Schadt has been a guest on Radio Maria in the past; so we are especially happy to have him onboard now as a presenter.
The title of the program is taken from the title of his book of the same name. It is a powerful daily devotional for modern day dads and husbands who want to walk in the footsteps of the man who most perfectly fulfilled his vo-cation as a father, St. Joseph. Devin guides his audience by transmitting to them the biblical vision of fatherhood, its necessity, glory and irreplaceable effect on families and society. Devin is also the founder of Fathers of St. Jo-seph, an apostolate that works for the renewal of authentic fatherhood.
Joining Devin is Brian Gail, author of a remarkable novel Fatherless. This book has also become a powerful tool for catechesis. He is a highly sought after speaker on matters of faith and family.
