ALL athletes competing in the Ohio Senior Olympics (OSO) are expected to read and comply with the: • “Athlete Code of Conduct” • “State Competition Protest Policy” • “General Rules for the State Games” Additionally, athletes should know and understand the rules specific to their sport. The OSO uses the rules book created by the National Senior Games Association for those sports that are offered at the National Senior Games. Rules for those events not offered at the National Senior Games are those of the official organizing body. All rules, policies, and code of conduct can be found on the OSO website: www.ohioseniorolympics.org Qualifying for National Senior Games Athletes finishing first, second, third, and fourth place in their age group will qualify for competition at the 2017 National Senior Games. Athletes must compete in the event they wish to qualify in for Nationals (singles, doubles, mixed doubles.) Tournament Details

Check-in• Check-in opens at 11 a.m. and will be open throughout the

tournament. • This will be right inside the front door of the Clemens

Center• Athlete packets will be there for pick up.• All brackets/pool play lists were included in the event

email sent to all registrants and is also located on the website: www.ohioseniorolympics.org

Men’s 65-69 Singles Details• We will start with pool play to determine seeding.• A single elimination bracket will follow.• Complete format details are listed on your bracket.

All Other Singles Details• Most will play one set to determine gold and silver.• Men 80-84 has 3 athletes and will play a round robbin.• All games will be played on court 1

Doubles Details• With only four total teams in three different age groups,

you will each play one set to detemine medals.• This tournament will begin following the completion of

singles on whichever court opens up first.

Medal Ceremony• Medals will be available for pick up after the conclusion of

each age group.• Must be present to receive medals. They will not be

mailed.
