Race Street Pier Wedding Ceremonies Race Street Pier, with dynamic views of the Delaware River and the Benjamin Franklin Bridge as well as trees, planngs, grassy areas and unique hardscapes, is available for Wedding Ceremonies. Please see the following page for examples of wedding ceremonies that have taken place on Race Street Pier. Race Street Pier can be reserved for Wedding Ceremonies only, not wedding recepons or cocktail hours. Race Street Pier is currently the only venue on Penn’s Landing property that issues permits for Wedding Cer- emonies. Wedding Ceremony permits are issued for a 2-hour me period and costs $200, DRWC is unable to hold dates so please send in your applicaon and payment as soon as possible. DRWC can provide power for small sound systems. Other rentals such as tables, chairs, arches or other décor may be available through DRWC exclusive equipment rental provider, The Party Center, Jason Tornea, 610-935-8368 or [email protected]. DRWC and Race Street Pier do not have any accommodaons for inclement weather, please make rain conngency plans with your recepon venue. Race Street Pier is not enrely closed for the wedding ceremony. DRWC blocks off a two hour window for the wedding ceremony. The lower level walkway of Race Street Pier is blocked off and DRWC Security is on site to make sure the general public does not interrupt the ceremonies. Parking Opons - Parking is not available at Race Street Pier, the meters in front of Race Street Pier are City of Philadelphia meters and are not under DRWC jurisdicon. Closest self parking is the lot at the Holiday Inn Express across the street.
