Shabbat Class: with Rabbi Gelman one hour before Mincha, Mishna and Meaning. Using Rabbi Yaakov Nagen's (Yeshiva Otniel) Nishmat Hamishna (The Soul of the Mishna) we will explore the literary, halachic and philosophical aspects of the Mish-na. Each Shabbat we will examine a different Mishna in order to learn the halachot-stemming from the Mishna as well to uncover additional layers of meaning.
Seudah Shlishit: Will take place in Tabenhaus Hall after Mincha.
Massechet Brachot: with David Silberman, after Mincha ———————————————————————————————————————- Ongoing Weekday Classes: Daf Yomi with Rabbi Yaakov Nagel. Daf Yomi is a daily regimen of Talmud study. The
entire Talmud is completed, one day at a time, in seven and a half years. Tens of thousands of Jews worldwide study in the Daf Yomi program. The class will take place in the UOS Library After Maariv, Sunday through Thursday.
Mondays 11:15 am-1:15 pm: Women’s only Israeli Dancing—Beginner thru
