It was a combination of dance & fitness program performed by e.motion21 & Muskaan on the stage with full energy with staff of the National trust, the friends from other disability sector and the audience. Also presented BeatFit- drumming on fit balls with choreographed movements to fabulous music & contemporary dance ended with the full blast of dance & Music. Everyone was dancing on western and Indian music. It was a wonderful & unforgettable moment for all of us. Mr. Lov Verma, Secretary, Department of Empowerment of persons with disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Mr C. K. Khaitan, Joint secretary & CEO of the National Trust with officials for the National Trust, Dr Shanti Auluck, Chairperson Muskaan with her team, Ms Kate, e.motion 21 along with her group of 65, Ashtawakra ROs & Ashish NGO participated in the Event and made it a success.

WORKSHOP on Communication Intervention in verbal & non verbal
adults with Autism on 9th August 2015
A workshop was held on communication Intervention in Verbal & non verbal adults with Autism on 9th August 2015 by Assisted Living for Autistic Adults (ALFAA) at Bangalore with the support of the National Trust.
Mr. Milind Sonawane, Resource Person spoke about Autism - how speech and communication gets affected in Autism. He explained about Joint attention and shared various techniques how to get joint attention. He explained the importance of play and gave the participants, practical situations to explain the deviation of social skills in children/people with autism. He explained various other conditions associated with Autism and differential diagnosis. He also spoke about Challenging behaviours in Autism, how to deal with challenging behaviours and explained about Autism and Aging. He enlisted various issues related to aging. He shared his experience, how they are dealing with the issues related to aging. Again, participants were given an opportunity to ask their doubts regarding aging issues and he resolved all the doubts by sharing his experience and various other techniques. He gave many ideas to participants regarding how they can improve socialization in adults with autism. More than 60 people attended the workshop. All the participants

immensely benefited with the techniques and practices to deal with various issues related to all aspects of autism, which Mr. Milind shared. Mr. Milind also shared detailed notes in the form of slides with all the participants. It is indeed, a very knowledgeable experience to all the participants.
Workshop on Creativity and Special Needs, 12-07-2015
Meeting with all the Assistant Directors of Telangana state on 3rd September 2015
Swayamkrushi SNAC of Telangana organized & participated in a meeting with Commissioner of Disabled Welfare and Senior citizens, Govt. of Telangana on 3rd Sept. 2015 along with the Assistant Directors of all districts of Telangana under chairmanship of Shri E. Sridhar IAS, Commissioner of disable welfare for implementation of the National Trust activities at District to State level.

Emphasis was given on Legal guardianship and Niramaya Health Insurance scheme.
Shri E. Shridhar IAS, Commissioner of disabled welfare and Senior citizens, Govt. of Telangana ,instructed to all the district Assistant directors of disabled welfare to help in implementation of National trust schemes with the help of Local level committees and Registered Organisation at their level, as they play a key role at district level. He also suggested SNAC to participate in all state level programmes for awareness generation and implementation of the National Trust Schemes. Ms. Manjula Kalyaan, Director and Ms. Jyothi, Coordinator of the SNAC, had given a detailed presentation of the National Trust activities before the Assistant directors for successful implementation of schemes at their level to help more beneficiaries. SNAC distributed poster, booklets and brochures of the National Trust schemes to the members. The session was brainstorming and informative.

Report on Composite Rehabiliation camp, held at Kurnool District, Andhra pradesh
Swayamkrushi, State Nodal Agency Center (SNAC), Andhra Pradesh had participated in the Mega Composite Rehabilitation Camp on behalf of the National Trust in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. The camp was organized by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India.
Shri. Thaawarchand Gehlot, Hon’ble Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India and Smt. Butta Renuka, Member of Parliament from Kurnool (Lok Sabha Constituency ), Andhra Pradesh were the Chief Guests on the occasion.

objective and distributed scheme booklets, pamphlets to the visitors, NGOs & district
officials and other participants which includes officials of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA),
Inclusive Education Resource Teacher (IERT) etc.
