The Abrahamic Foundation Hajj & Umrah The Abrahamic Foundation is a non-profit organisation that delivers the hajj under the banner of being an educational outreach project. All profits from our trips are reinvested into our community and dawah works. Our aim is to deliver a Hajj that offers pilgrims an educational insight into the meaning of Hajj. This consists of lessons from the sirah, spiritual reflections and ensuring the manasik (Hajj rituals) are performed according to the sunnah (no cutting corners). Our group leaders are experienced and qualified imams and teachers with over two decades of expertise in the field.

Is there a perfect Hajj package? As all things in this worldly life, nothing can be perfect. In search of the best hajj package that suits your needs, there will always be a give and take, a compromise. It may be the package price, hotel location, dates, flights that are the deciding factor for you. This will mean you will sacrifice something at its expense. Hajj isn’t a holiday but rather a journey to the house of Allah that will entail some hardships and sacrifice in your search for self-betterment. You must be clear about what you want to attain from your hajj and then choose your package prioritising these objectives. It shouldn’t just be about brand names, luxury and ease.

Shifting Packages - What is Aziziyah? The Abrahamic Foundation Hajj package consists of a package where our pilgrims will shift to Aziziyah before the Hajj. Aziziyah is a district of Makkah that borders Mina and the Jamaraat area of Hajj. We usually stay close to the Sidqi Road in Aziziyah situated close to the Jamaraat bridge. We choose to stay in Aziziyah for three reasons. Firstly, because its value for money. Aziziyah, on average will cut a five-star package price by £1000 to £1500. Secondly, the Aziziyah accommodation offers pilgrims a pit stop during the days of hajj. This allows us access to our rooms, showers and rest throughout the days of Hajj as we are near to the jamaraat. Finally, Aziziyah gives us three days to train and familiarise our group with the Hajj locations and routes in preparation for the hajj. Whilst in Aziziyah our group will have two daily educational lessons and a number of historical ground visits. It’s also an excellent place for last minute shopping with plenty of shops and malls nearby.

Customer care and professionalism whilst in Saudi Arabia Please be aware that customs, cultures and mannerism differ from country to country. You will not receive the customer care and efficiency you may be accustomed to in the United Kingdom. Five-star hotels, its staff, and facilities are Saudi five-star standard and not UK standards. Staff can be inefficient and unprofessional; at times very rude. This also applies to processing at Saudi airports and transfers. You must not presume that standards will be like those in the UK. You will need to be patient!

Language of communication Though our instructors can in addition to English speak many languages, all our public lectures and programmes will be delivered in English.

Purchasing a local SIM Sims can only be purchased in Saudi Arabia upon arrival. Each SIM will be registered to your Hajj visa number and the customers finger print. One SIM per visa number and finger print. We strongly advice that each Hajji purchases a SIM, in particular families who consists of brothers and sisters. This will ensure you do not lose each other and enable communications whilst brothers and sisters are separated. Brothers and sisters will be separated whilst in Masjid Nabawi and in the tents during the 5 days of Hajj.

Wi-Fi - Hotels in Makah, Madinah and accommodation in Aziziyah may offer internet Wi-Fi connections. These facilities may be available in each room or just available in hotel lobbies. The quality of Wi-Fi and its reliability can be excellent and, at times, very poor. Some hotels even charge to use this service. If you require uninterrupted internet access, we advise that you purchase a Saudi SIM with a generous data bundle

After receiving feedback this year, we are offering a half board meal package. This means that in addition to the breakfast buffet that all standard packages offer, you will also have the evening dinner buffet included in your package.

Why choose the half board add on option? The rush of Hajj means that going out to eat or bringing food for your loved ones can become very challenging due to the large crowds and excessive queues. This option saves pilgrims the hassle and time of going out to get your own food and frees you up for worship and rest. The breakfast buffet is usually served between 6am to 10am and the dinner buffet is usually served from 6pm to 10pm, giving you ample time to find a suitable time to have your meals.
