The following information covering Pioneer Mill Company's pumping stations for the calendar year 1960 is ~bmitted in reponse to your request 1'or data to be used in your annual water level report.
No new pumps were installed during the year. At U.S.G.S. Well /17 -the skimming tunnel pumping installation at our sugar mill - there formerly had. been four pumps installed. The use of pump C/3 was discontinued on July 23, 1960. The amount of water it had pumped was picked. up by pump C/4 so that the total draw remained approximately the same.

The following data covering Pioneer Mill Company's pumping stations for the calendar year 1957 are submitted in response to the request contained in your letter of December 26, 1957.
When we submitted our report for the calendar year 1956 to you on January 18, 1957, we neglected to report that we had made a change in our Kahoma ("M") pump - USGS No.5. This pumping station formerly consisted of two separate pumps operating in series, one boosting, each with its own electric motor. During the year 1956, while in the process of making this pump semi-automatic, we replaced the two series pumps with one. The change did not affect operating head or rated capacity.
No new pumps were installed during 1957. Neither was there
