In order to accomplish this mission, the team will review relevant crime trends as well as solicit direct feedback from the community through in-person, virtual, and digital correspondence channels. Ultimately, we aspire to enhance community safety by developing positive relationships and open lines of communication through a two-tiered approach of community-driven engagement and law enforcement action. A co-production initiative consisting of both law enforcement and community input is paramount to the success of the RESET Initiative. Partner with county agencies to provide support services to those in impacted communities. Provide crime prevention information and resources to promote an informed and safe community. Mentor youth and partner with community members to support initiatives such as food, coat, and school supply drives. Promote community policing model through relationship building by regular in-person/virtual business and residential area visits. Address crimes that affect the quality of life for our community members. Provide investigative support for criminal investigations. Increase patrol responsibilities.
