Gratitude Corner We want to say “Thank You” to all those who volun-teer and give back to Saint John Paul II! This week we recognize all who help with the Church Decorating, under the guidance of Dc. Marty, Pam Johnson & John Hartman. Many hands really do make light work and we are very grateful to all who volunteer their time to help decorate the church during the Christmas and Easter seasons. It always looks so beautiful, and we do appreciate your time and talents during such a busy time! This year we will be decorating for Christmas on Sunday afternoon, December 22nd. Visitation School Foundation History

The Visitation School Foundation was founded in 1984 with the mission to solicit contributions to fund an endowment that would provide its income to the sup-port of our school. In our 35 years of existence the Foundation has raised $1,719,909.63. During those years the Foundation has directly provided the school $897,824 of support from income earned on its en-dowment. In addition, the Foundation has loaned our Parish $1,563,236 to assist in its effort to fund school operations. We are honored to be a part of Visitation Catholic School’s 123 year success story.

Our Foundation is governed by a local board of direc-tors. Past directors included Charles Blachinsky, Paul Donovan, Albert Guzzardo, Robert Hansen, W. Harry Harper, William Harper, James Rinella, and Harold VanDeVelde. Current directors include Jeffrey Arch, Jane Berlinski, John Blachinsky, David Boswell, George Guzzardo, Michael Nichols, and Kara Yepsen.

We want to thank all of our past 836 individual donors, for without you there would be no Foundation assets and possibly no school. Your contributions are appre-ciated and dedicated to the future success of our school.

Altar & Rosary Society We would like to thank those ladies who have laundered the Pacificator Linens for the past year; Mary Nosalik, Maureen Van Wassenhove, Julie Derick, Barb DeSplinter, Marilyn Zumber, Pam Johnson, Vi Verbout, Eileen Eilers, Sheila Donovan and Lu Rux. We will need more volunteers next year. If you would like to help, please sign your name on the list in the Sacristy or call Jane Tornquist at 853-2306. Thank you!

In Memoriam Loving Father, welcome home those whom You have called from this world, and grant peace and consola-tion to their families.

Jerome Kawka May the souls of the faithfully departed rest in the lov-ing presence of God. Amen.
