Postgraduate study is a significant commitment. Whether your aim is to reposition your career or to begin a journey of scientific discovery, choosing the best university for your study or research is crucial.
Our ‘real world’ focus has earned QUT a powerful reputation for working successfully with business, industry and the community. Our programs and high impact research transcends academic boundaries to help solve real world problems and furnish you with a postgraduate degree that reflects this real world orientation.
QUT is experiencing significant growth in research capacity with four nationally important interdisciplinary research institutes and a $200 million dollar infrastructure investment in a Science and Technology Precinct at the Gardens Point campus in the heart of Brisbane City.
Emerging scholarship opportunities are also opening doors for the best and brightest postgraduate and research students to study at QUT. In addition to QUT’s own scholarship program, the Australian Government’s Australian Development Scholarships, Australian Leadership Awards, and Endeavour scholarships provide such opportunities and I encourage you to find out more about how these could work for you.
QUT is a family-oriented university recognised for pioneering excellent international student support services. With outstanding academic and research, recreational and IT facilities, and both of our two major campuses situated in Brisbane City, QUT is a natural choice. I invite you to read on and find out more about why we would like QUT to be your university.
We look forward to welcoming you soon to QUT and Brisbane.
Welcome

Guarav Kashalkar India Creative Advertising graduate One of the main reasons I chose this course was the structure. The course has been designed to ensure that newcomers as well as veterans in the advertising industry would find it interesting and extremely helpful. This practical course, which gives hands-on experience in advertising, gave me the confidence and the skills required by the industry. Most of the assignments involved creating advertisements which would contribute towards building a portfolio. The internship gave me the chance to work with an ad agency in Australia and it was an experience I’ll never forget. I ended up completing more than 120 hours with Redsuit Advertising.

Viktoria Gross Germany
Study Abroad student, University of SiegenAt QUT you don’t just learn about business strategies, you learn how to apply them which helps to understand them properly. I have enjoyed my study abroad time; it has helped me to grow personally by adapting to new places and people, and getting to know the Australian culture.

Exchange student, Shanghai Jiao Tong University My classmates and lecturers were extremely friendly and accommodating to Exchange students, particularly with the language barrier. Living with classmates in an apartment nearby the school gave me the opportunity to hone my cooking skills and learn about each other’s culture. I highly recommend this program!
