Interdepartmental General Quiz Competition and Master Quizzer-2018

Quiz Club of MES College Marampally organized two major events on January 9, 2018 in the Conference

Hall. An Interdepartmental General Quiz Competition and Master Quizzer-2018 were conducted. A team

of two members participated from each department. There was a Preliminary written Round conducted

and five teams were qualified for the Main. Master Quizzer-2018 was a platform to find the best

quizzing talent of MES College. A team of two members participated from each department. 10

questions were demonstrated and presented before the audience. There was a panel of judges to

evaluate their quiz. The selections of questions, Presentation and demonstration skills, PPT slides,

quizzing talent, etc. were considered as criterion. Mrs.Binila K Pulikkottil, HOD, Dept. of Mathematics

and Mr.Dhanesh Sebastian, Assistant Professor, Dept. of English were the coordinators. Mr.Parthan of

BBA Department was the student co-ordinator of the programme.

Freedom Quest 2017 was organized at conference hall on 17th

August 2017 in association with

the Department of Electronics, M E S College Marampally.Mrs.Shareena E M,Mrs. Chika K

Gangadharan were the coordinators and Mrs. Raphika P M,HOD, Electronics was the general

convener of this programme.17 teams with 2 members each from various colleges participated in

the preliminary round which was conducted by Mr.AjimshaMaidheenand Mrs. Roshni Alex at

10.30 am. Mr. Dhanesh Sebastian, Coordinator of the quiz club was the quiz master.Sidharth R

Vyloppilly and Ashkar Ali of New Man College,Thodupuzha won the first prize andSiddharth P

K and Angelin Mary George ofSacred Heart College,Thevara were the runners up.

District Committee

Quiz Time- 2018 Unfold India was organized by MES Youth Wing, Ernakulam District

Committee as part of the Republic Day celebrations. Mr. Dhanesh Sebastian, Coordinator of the

Quiz Club was the quiz master. It was a district level competition that witnessed 32 teams from

in and around of Ernakulam district.
