Founded in 1980 and published once a year, rhc journal provide an opportunity for scholars of rhe Middle Ages or Renaissance to share their scholarly work. The editors are eek.ing articles and essays (twenty ro thirty double-spa ed manu cript pages) that appeal ro scholars both within and with­out the author's discipline.

Submission of manuscript dealing with medieval or renais ancc studies is open to all scholars regardles of discipline or location. All submission should foUow The Chicago Manual of Style. ubmissions will be refereed.

The author's name will not be made known to the referees and should not appear on rhe manu cript. Rather, a cover sheer, with the author' name, add ress, telephone number, e- mail add ress, and title of rhe paper hould accompany the paper. Plea e send rhrcc copies of the paper to
