QuickBooks Direct ConnectThe following screen shots will walk you through the process of re-connecting accounts using QuickBooks and Direct Connect after conversion.

Important Points:• You must register and log in to Online Banking at hancockwhitney.com before setting

up QuickBooks

• You must deactivate online services for your MidSouth Bank accounts

• You should then re-activate online services for your new accounts by selecting Hancock Whitney Bank Direct from the list of available fi nancial institutions

• Your new account ID and password will correspond to your username and password through Hancock Whitney Bank Online Banking

From the home screen of QuickBooks, click on Banking Bank Feeds Bank Feeds Center.

Please note: If there are downloaded transactions that have not been accepted into your register, you will need to do so before proceeding. QuickBooks will not allow an account to be de-activated for online services if there are transactions not accepted into the register.

On the Edit Account screen select Deactivate All Online Services and click Save & Close.

On the Bank Feeds screen highlight the former MidSouth account and click on Disable Bank Feeds.

Click “Ok.” There is no need to call to cancel the service.

QuickBooks will delete the account from the Bank Feeds Center.

Important Note: If you have multiple accounts, you must perform the above steps for ALL accounts connected to MidSouth.

Once all accounts are deactivated go back to your Home Screen. Select Banking Bank Feeds Setup Bank Feed for Account.

Click “Yes.”

Type in Hancock Whitney Bank Direct and select Hancock Whitney Bank Direct.

QuickBooks will then connect.

Enter your HWB username and password and then click “connect” in the lower right-hand corner.

QuickBooks will connect and look for accounts.

STOP!!!!! Do not click the Connect button just yet. If an account is already in the register you may link the new HWB downloaded account to an existing account in QuickBooks if you so desire. If you add the account by selecting Create New, you will have two duplicate accounts in the register and the old MidSouth Bank account will be for viewing purposes only. It is your choice as to how you would like to handle this.

For linking just select the account from your QuickBooks register you would like to link to and click “Connect.”

QuickBooks will add or link the account per your selection. Click “Close.”

Go back to your home screen and select Banking Bank Feeds Bank Feeds Center.

You will now see your connected HWB accounts in the Bank Feeds. If you have multiple accounts you may download each account individually by selecting the Download Transactions button.

QuickBooks will prompt you to enter your HWB password. Click “Ok.”

If you would like to download transactions for ALL accounts just click on the update button in the upper right.

QuickBooks will connect and download any new transactions that have posted.
