1. Home Page
This section explains the Infor Xtreme Community Home Page.
1.1 Headline
The static Headline contains multiple functions and the menu which allows you to easily navigate and search the community.
Number - Option Description
1 – Search Search is context-sensitive, it recognizes the context it is being used in and returns results based on it. For example, search on the Home Page and it will search all community groups you have access to, but if you are in a specific community group, only that group will be searched.
2 – Notifications The Notifications function displays a list of All or Unread notifications that have been sent to you by the community. You are notified by email or live Alert (when logged in to the communities) of actions that have occurred to the content you are subscribed to. You are able to configure which notifications you would like, in the Profile Settings page.
3 – Messages The Messages function displays a list of All private messages that you have sent or received from other community members.
4 – Bookmarks The Bookmarks function displays a list of Bookmarks you have setup on community content. Bookmarks are a great way to find content you may want to refer to frequently.
5 – Profile The Profile function allows you to view and edit your community profile and settings.
6 – Home The Home menu option will bring you back to the Home Page.
7 – Community Groups
The Community Groups menu option will list all Infor Xtreme Community groups that you have access to, based on your Infor Xtreme Product Entitlement.
8 – Help The Help menu option will display the community Knowledge Base which contains various help documents.
9 – Terms Of Use The Terms Of Use option will display the Infor Xtreme Communities Terms of Use Knowledge Base entry.

1.2 Content
The content of the Home Page is laid out in three columns of data.
Number Description
1 – Groups You Have Joined
This is a list of community Groups that you have access to and have specifically requested to ‘Join’. Joining a groups allows you to review and add content, replies, etc.
2 – Groups You Can Access
This list displays all community Groups you are eligible to join based on your Infor Xtreme Product Entitlement. It displays those you have joined and those you have yet to join.
3 – Activity Stream
This area displays all activities that have occurred in the groups you have joined, in chronological order.
4 – Discussions Participated In
This displays a list of the 10 most recent discussions that you have participated in.
5 – Latest Discussions
This displays a list of the 10 most recent discussions that have been updated for all groups you are a member of.

2. Group Page
This section explains the Group page.
2.1 Group Header
Number Description
1 – Discussions The Discussions option will display a list with all discussions related to this specific group.
2 – Files The Files option will display a list of uploaded media content related to this specific group.
3 – Members The Members option will display a list of community users that have joined this specific group.
4 – Tags The Tags option will display all tags that apply to this specific group.
5 – New The New option allows you add a new Discussion to this specific group.

2.2 Group Content
The Group Content page is laid out in two columns of data.
Number Description
1 – Discussions This is a list of the 5 most recently updated discussions. Various sort options are available.
2 – Activity Stream
This area displays all activities that have occurred within this specific group in chronological order.
3 – Leave The Leave option will display only if you have already joined this specific group. Leaving the group means you will no longer receive any notifications related to the group.
4 – Email Digest The Email Digest option allows you to select the frequency you want to receive the digest via email for this specific group.

3. Discussions
This section explains the Discussion functionality.
3.1 New Discussion
When selecting the “New” Option within a Community Group as described above, the following screen will appear.
Step Description
1 – Subject Enter a Subject for the discussion
2 – Description Enter a Description using the Rich Editor, if you need to add an attachment simply drag and drop into the Rich Editor.
3 – Tags Optional - Add Tags related to content of this discussion, as you type it will find tags already used in the specific group, if the tag does not exist, select the new tag and it will display in italics. These tags can later be used for searching
4 – Post When your content is complete, select the Post button, the discussion will be created in the specific group and notifications will be sent out to members based on their profile options.

3.2 Viewing a Discussion
Number Description
1 – Discussion Subject
The Subject and Description of the discussion are displayed at the top.
2 – Replies The Replies are listed in chronological order, 15 replies will show before pagination occurs.
3 – Discussion Details
This section displays key information about the discussion, who started the discussion, when it was started, number of replies, number of subscribers (who will be notified upon update) and number of users that have viewed the discussion.
4 – Tags This section displays the Tags associated to this discussion, selecting a specific tag will perform a search within the current group that contain the tag.
5 – Mute Will turn off the email notifications if you elect to no longer be sent emails when replies are posted
6 – Related This section displays other discussions in this group that are related based on Tags and Discussion Subject and Description.

3.3 Replying
3.3.1 Replying To a Discussion
Step Description
1 – Reply Text Click on the Reply button and the simple Reply Text box will open.
2 – Reply Click on the Reply button when you are finished entering your text.
3 – Rich Formatting
Optional – If you would prefer to use the Rich Text editor or add an attachments, click on the Use rich formatting link to open the window.
3.3.2 Replying To a Reply
Step Description
1 – Reply Text Click on the Reply button and the simple Reply Text box will open.
2 – Reply Click on the Reply button when you are finished entering your text.

4. User
This sections explains how to view and update your profile and settings.
4.1 User
Steps Description
1 – Avatar Selecting your Avatar will display the Profile and Settings options.
2 – Profile Selecting Profile will open the Profile page where you can view and edit information about yourself that is visible to other community members.
3 – Settings Selecting Settings will open the Settings page where you can view and edit various community settings such as Subscriptions, Digests, Date and Time format etc.

4.1.1 Profile Header
Number Description
1 – Avatar This is the public Avatar that is shown to all members if you have uploaded one.
2 – Profile This is the Display Name that is shown to all members.
3 – Activity Selecting this option will display a list of all of your Activity within the community.
4 – Groups Selecting this option will display a list of all of your Groups you have joined.
5 – Friends Selecting this option will display a list of all the Members you have connected with.
6 – Mentions Selecting this option will display a list of all the content where you have been directly mentioned.
7 – Likes Selecting this option will display a list of all the content where you have been directly mentioned.
8 – Bookmarks Selecting this option will display a list of all your Bookmarks.

4.1.2 Profile Content
Number Description
1 – About Display Name
This section displays your biography.
2 – About This section contains additional information about you.
3 – Product Information
This sections contains your Primary Product, Secondary Product and Versions and Platforms.
4 – Products Interested In
This section contains your Solution Interests.
5 – Edit Profile Will allow you to Edit your Profile.

4.1.3 Editing Profile
Step Description
1 – Avatar Click on Avatar and the page will open to allow to upload a new Avatar.
2 – Display Name Do not change – While you can change your Display Name here, it is controlled by Infor Xtreme and is resent every time you log into the Community. If you wish to change your Display Name, change this in your Infor Xtreme Profile.
3 – Profile Content
All Profile Content fields can be changed as required.
4 – Save Profile Once you have completed your Profile Updates, click Save Profile.
5 – Cancel Select this option is you do not wish to Save and updates.

4.2 Settings
4.2.1 Settings Header
Number Description
1 – Options Selecting this option will allow you to View and Edit your Site Options.
2 – Email Digests Selecting this option will list all Email Digests for your groups and the frequency you will receive them.
3 – Subscriptions Selecting this option will list all Subscriptions for each group you have access to.
4 – Notifications Selecting this option will list all Notifications you will receive.

4.2.2 Options Content
Number Description
1 – Email address
Do Not Change – This is controlled by Infor Xtreme and is resent every time you log into the Community. If you wish to change your Email Address, change this in your Infor Xtreme Profile.
2 – Enable email contact
Check if you want Email communications.
3 – Enable HTML emails
Check if you want HTML Emails, if disable then Text emails will be sent.
4 – Content editor
Choose which editor to use.
5 – Time zone
Choose your Time zone.
6 – Date format
Choose your Date Format
7 – Allow private messages from
Choose which community members can send you Private Messages.
8 – Share bookmarks
Check if you wish to share your Bookmarks when another member views your profile.
9 – Include in search
Check if you want your Profile to be shown in the Search function.
10 – Save Save any changes made to your Settings.

4.2.3 Email Digest Content
Number Description
1 – Groups List displays all groups you have access to and are a member of.
2 – Frequency Displays the frequency the Email Digest will be sent to you for each group.
3 – Other Group Subscriptions
If you have access to a Group but have not joined it, but have chosen to receive the Email Digest.
4 – Save Save any changes made to your Email Digests.

4.2.4 Subscriptions Content
Number Description
1 – Application Name
Lists all Applications and Groups that you have elected to Subscribe to.
2 – Frequency Ability to Unsubscribe to the specific Application and Group.

Number Description
1 – Notify Me When
Lists all Notifications that can be sent by the community based on your Subscriptions.
2 – Email Choose if you want an Email sent to you for this notification.
3 – Live Alert Choose if you want a Live Alert for this notification. Live Alerts are temporary pop-ups that appear in your browser to notify events as they happen when you are logged in to the Communities.

5. Searching
This section explains the Searching functionality.
5.1 Home Page Search
Search is context sensitive, when you perform a search on the Home Page it will search all Groups you have access to.
Step Description
1 – Search Bar Enter the text you wish to Search for in the Search Bar, as you type the search is performed automatically.
2 – Search In Choose if you want to Search Community Content (all you have access to), Groups Header content, or People.
3 – Search Results
Based on your search term, the results are shown in the list with the most relevant at the top, simply click on content to open.
4 – Advanced Search
Opens the Advanced search screen with all the results from the search along with some facets to zero in the search.

5.2 Group Page Search
When you are within a specific group, the search will only be performed against that Group.
Step Description
1 – Search Bar Enter the text you wish to Search for in the Search Bar, as you type the search is performed automatically.
2 – Search In Displays the Group the search has been performed in.
3 – Advanced Search
Opens Advanced search screen with all the results from the search along with some facets to zero in the search.

6. Bookmarks
This section explains how to create and use Bookmarks.
6.1 What Are Bookmarks?
The Bookmark functionality allows you to keep a list of links to any content, groups or users that you may wish to refer to quickly in the future.
6.1.1 Add New Bookmark
Step Description
1 – Bookmark Icon
When you are on the content, group or user you wish to Bookmark, select the Bookmark icon in the Headline.
2 – Bookmark this….
Select the “Bookmark this….” to save a bookmark to the specific content, group or user.

6.1.2 Using Bookmarks
Step Description
1 – Bookmark Icon
On the Headline, select the Bookmark icon.
2 – Bookmark Filters
Use the Bookmark Filters to select the relevant option, to show the Bookmark you require.
3 – Content Bookmark
The content Bookmark will show the Subject and relevant group this content belongs to, simply select the list item to open the content.
4 – View All If you wish to see more details on your Bookmarks, select the View All option and a new page will open with additional details.
