Welcome to Vuzix Remote Assist Your new solution for great enterprise communication. This quick start guide will walk you through the process to create your own private environment, install software on the glasses, and make your first call.

To get started, go to vra.vuzix.com and press ‘I don't have an account’ to create an administrator account and the company’s dashboard.

Complete Your Registration Follow the steps to create your account and an email will automatically be sent to the address you entered. You will be able to invite users, download software and manage the team in a later stage.

You can now access your dashboard and add users to start your first call.

User Types • Administrator: Usually the dashboard creator, all

access to payments/upgrading, user management, groups and workflows.

• User: Uses VRA Smart Glasses App for field work.

Add New Users

To allow remote support from the dashboard, new users must be added.

• Use the ‘Add a User’ button on

your dashboard home screen. • Add the email address of the

new user. • Select the user type. • Save and a confirmation email

will be sent • Once confirmed, new users will

show up in the dashboard.

Users: Installation on Vuzix Smart Glasses

Newly added users must install the ‘Vuzix Remote Assist’ app from the Vuzix App Store. To do so, visit this link in your browser: https://www.vuzix.com/appstore/app/vuzix-remote-assist

Click the ‘Free’ button and select the Smart Glasses you want to download the app to. Then make sure the glasses are powered on with Wi-Fi connected.

Logging in to your Smart Glasses To log in to your account, you can navigate to https://vra.vuzix.com/#/glasslogin on your preferred browser and follow the on-screen instructions to generate the QR-Code. Alternatively, download ‘VRA Mobile’ from either the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Once installed, enter the credentials to your confirmed account and press Login on glasses to generate a QR-Code. Open the VRA App on your smart glasses and click ‘Scan QR-Code from the App’ Connect the smart glasses by scanning the generated QR-Code on your phone.

Video Call To connect to a remote user, simply select the user you would like to contact and press ‘Start a Call’. Once you’ve established a connection with a field user, you’ll be able to use all the real-time features of Vuzix Remote Assist. What you see below is an example image of what an engineer could show you with the front-facing camera.

Workflows To create your first workflow, navigate to the Workflows section of the Navigation dropdown in the VRA portal. Press the ‘+Add a new workflow’ button to create your new workflow. Add as many steps as needed to complete the task. Steps can include: Text instructions, QR-Code validation or multi-media instructions/references.

Workflows can be executed in either the ‘Vuzix Remote Assist’ app on your Smart Glasses or from the ‘VRA Mobile’ app on any mobile device.
