Question Tags

Question Tags are short questions which we put at the

end of a sentence.


Question TagsWe use them when we are not sure about something and when we want the other person to agree with us.


Question TagsThey are formed with an auxiliary verb (am, is, are, was, were, have,

has, do, does, did, can, could, will,

etc) and a subject personal pronoun


Question TagsWe use a positive question tag with negative sentences, and negative

question tags with positive sentences

We use clauses of result to express the result of an action or a conclusion
