Cameroon: All of Africa in One Country

If Africa is the Mother of Humanity, then Let us explore to the world’s

best preserved traditional heritage through the lenses of Cameroon.

Disclaimer: I do know owe the pictures used in this presentation. These were borrowed from various websites and online blogs

There is no cultural legacy without knowledge of traditions. “True tradition does not stem from the

past, either lays in the present, nor in the future; it is not servant of

timeTradition is not history. Tradition is

eternity itself“. Alfonso Rodriguez Castelle

If African cultural heritage as a whole was to be contained in a time capsule as one country, Cameroon, also best known as Africa in Miniature could best represent its legacy.

CAMEROON: AFRICA IN MINIATURE

Cameroon is Africa's throbbing heart, a crazed, sultry mosaic of active volcanoes, white and black sand beaches, thick rainforest and magnificent parched landscapes broken up by the bizarre rock formations of the Sahel. With about 23 millions people in both Francophone and Anglophone regions, not to mention some 230 local languages, the country is a vast ethnic and linguistic jigsaw.
