Attempt 1 –Not as successful but I used the instructions on this web site (http://www.pixeldigest.com/cartooneffect.html) I used this site to try and create a cartoon effect because I was trying to re-create the scene from the tangled movie.

This website used different layers and different effects on each layer, then merge them together. This was to try and soften the edges of the photograph to make t look more cartoon like.

I don’t think this worked as well as it could of due to the fact I had to improvise because the photoshop programs were different one was older than the other.

Attempt 2 - With this one I think works better because the colours are more separated and the and defined than the other one, I think there is more of a difference father than it just being faded.

I am still not extremely happy with the fact the colours aren’t as bright as they could be.

For this one I just played around with

the Filter tools.

Main Photographs –

For my main photos I generally just played around in picasa with lighting and contrast to make the photographs look brighter and more defined, but I also tried different effects after like black and white then the sepia tool.
