Who would be the target audience for your media product? I started off by
researching my target audience. I established this by doing a questionnaire.
The results of this questionnaire reflected on who my target audience was going to be
This was mainly going to be teenagers, more young adults who were at college, both sexes.
Who would be the target audience for your media product? This magazine is
aimed at young adults, mainly still within education.
This magazine is within the genre of pop/rock. So this is who my audience would be, and people interested within this genre of music.
Young adults are a big and diverse audience, which is ideal for my magazine
Who would be the target audience for your media product? I already
established my social groups for my target audience which were ‘Hipsters’, ‘Rockers’ and ‘All - round general’.
I also established the ethnicity/race and gender etc when creating the magazine.
Who would be the target audience for your media product? Target Audience profiles (unfortunately I
couldn’t gain access to the people’s pictures I did it on)
Jane – 17 years old Occupation – she has just started college, she
has a part time job and works on Friday because it fits with her college timetable
Lifestyle and hobbies: when she has time she goes out with her friends, spends time with her family, likes to watch films and goes to the cinema sometimes.
Favourite artists: Norah, Lady Gaga and Maroon 5
Who would be the target audience for your media product? Target Audience profiles (unfortunately I
couldn’t gain access to the people’s pictures I did it on):
John – 18 years old Occupation – In his last year of college, he’s
currently unemployed. Lifestyle and hobbies: spends a lot of time
with family and friends, he loves to listen to his music, he reads comics and likes his TV.
Favourite artists: Mick Jagger, Nirvana and Radio head
These are just some examples of what my target audience would be.
