How did you use Media Technologies in the Construction and Research, Planning and Evaluation Stages ?

The first thing I did was get myself logged onto a Mac due to the editing software being available on there.

I then selected I movie which can be found at the bottom of the screen with the logo shown below

This is the home screen for I movie

This is where your edited footage will go and where u do all the cutting clips and adding of slides

This is where all the raw footage will go

This is where you choose you events , new event are also optional

As mentioned in the previous slide new events are available, this is how u upload the raw footage. Click file

U then select the file were the footage is located and Import it

This is what will appear when u have imported the chosen footage, it will appear in the lower half of the software

I am demonstrating here how to import music, u click the music note as shown

When u have clicked the music note, this menu will appear , u then click iTunes and your downloaded music will be in there, u simply select it

When u have selected it , you then drag it to the scene u want it to play over

To edit the music u have chosen u double click the green line under the scene which is the music ,you then click audio and all your editing options will appear

Here I am showing you how to cut the clips you have imported, u click on the clip u would like to edit and when u have done that, you then drag the highlighted section and pres backspace on your keyboard, this will erase the highlighted section of the clip

YouTube Upload

This is to upload to YouTube , the first thing u will need to do is click share as shown to the right.

You will then be presented with the box shown. You then enter your YouTube details to log in

When you have logged in you will be shown this new box

You will then need to enter your password to YouTube and click next and it will upload for you automatically

Facebook was used to share ideas and arrange times/ dates between groups, this helped us organise ourselves and be efficient with our work

Twitter was also used for arrangements and communication between our tutors, this improved communicated and time consumption

YouTube was used to upload our trailers to , this allowed audience feedback to be given and improvements to be made

This is the video camera we used to film all our footage, small compact and high quality allowed us too film many shot types

This camera was used in the green screen room due to its high quality of photos, this allowed us to edit clear pictures and make it look professional
