IPC MEDIA Ltd

IPC Media will publish my magazine. IPC publish only two music magazines which are NME and Uncut: the magazine ‘NME’ deals more with the Rock- Indie genre and less with Pop music; the magazine ‘Uncut’ deals with rock music. IPC Media do not have a magazine that focuses especially on pop music and for that reason they would publish my magazine which deals mainly with the pop industry.

Condé Nast

Condé Nast will publish my magazine. They do not publish any other music magazines and there will be no competition within the company. Also, they publish only American magazines and a British magazine will create more demand. These will enable them to attract larger audience and increase revenues (financial benefits). A very known brand of Condé Nast is ‘Vogue’ (fashion magazine).

DistributionI will distribute my magazine in newsagents and shops like Tesco, WHSmith or Morrison’s because these are places that my target audience is likely to purchase magazines from. I would sell the magazine in busy and crowded areas such as London Bridge to increase the interaction with as many people as possible.

Based on my research I have noticed that a lot of people get copies of magazines in the local shop by their house. For this reason I would also distribute my magazine in corner shops where local people from the community go.

Distribution

I will also encourage customers to subscribe to my magazine so I know that factors such as time of the year or weather will not affect the sales of my magazine and it will guarantee a balanced cash flow and loyalty between the business and the customers.
