3. What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

IPC Media has a lot of brands under it. Not many music magazines though. The only one they really have is NME.

NME is a very popular music magazine however so IPC may be a good choice

EMAP has a few popular magazines under its brand, but none of them are music related. They are mostly magazines aimed at skilled workers.

This makes me think that EMAP would not be such a good idea to publish my music related magazine.

Bauer media group has a lot of magazines under it’s brand. Quite a few of them are music magazines too. This shows their suitability for my magazine, especially considering they have a magazine like “Kerrang!” under their brand. If they can make magazines like Kerrang successful, they can do the same for mine.

Bauer music would be the institution I would use to distribute my magazine.
