All entries must include the following TWO elements -「皇仁 and/or QC」AND「160 and/or 一六零」. 2. All entries must be graphic designs that can be drawn by hand or with the assistance of a computer. 3. Size: 20-30cm in length; 18-22cm in width 4. Each entry should include no more than 3 colours and should avoid the use of gradient colours, dots or points that are too small, and lines and shapes that are too narrow or with sharp angles. 5. There is no limitation for pigment and software used for hand-drawn and computer-assisted designs. (a) For hand-drawn designs, examples of usable pigments include but are not limited to poster colours, water colours, pastels and markers. (b) For computer-assisted designs, examples of usable software include Photoshop, AI and MS Paint. 1. 6. Contestants must submit both a hard and soft copy
of the design.
(a) Hand-drawn designs should be drawn on an A3
drawing paper.
(b) Computer-assisted designs should be printed on
an A3 white paper with a margin of at least 1cm.
(c) Soft copies must be in JPEG/PNG/PDF format.
Files size must not exceed 30MB with a
resolution of no lower than 300dpi.
7. Contestants must submit all attached entry forms in
BOTH hard and soft copies together with a design
description of no more than 100 words (Chinese or
English). [See Appendix 1]
8. Each contestant can submit a maximum of two
entries.

Judging
procedures
1. There are 2 rounds of adjudication for all entry categories. In the first round, judges will select 3 entries
from each entry category as the finalists for both the Logo Design and Slogan Competitions.
2. In the final round, the judging panel will decide on the Champion, First runner-up and Second runner-up
for each entry category. They will then decide on the Overall Champion, which will be used in the 160th
Anniversary celebrations.
Prizes
1. Junior secondary and senior secondary
Champion: $300 Book voucher and a certificate of merit
First runner-up: $200 Book voucher and a certificate of merit
Second runner-up: $100 Book voucher and a certificate of merit
2. Open
Champion: $500 Gift voucher and a trophy
First runner-up: $300 Gift voucher and a trophy
Second runner-up: $100 Gift voucher and a trophy
3. The Overall Champion will be awarded 160th Anniversary souvenirs and a trophy.
