Because of Canada’s English and French history, many Canadians speak French as well as English.

Many of the French speakers live in Quebec. Some of these people want Quebec to be

independent from the rest of Canada.

Many Separatists feel that their culture and history are not being preserved in Canada.

In Quebec English may be used for advertisement but it must be placed after the French words and it must be smaller in size
