Mechanical behavior of the composite material T800/F3900, a strengthened epoxy carbon-fiber reinforced polymer is investigated. Tension and shear tests are conducted on the composite at various strain rates. The objective of the project is to generate experimental data for calibrating MAT_213, a constitutive material model in the simulation software LS-DYNA.
