Prof. Sarosh Hashmat Lodi- NED UET, is a Professor and Dean, Faculty of

Civil Engineering and Architecture, NED University of Engineering & Technology

He has over 26 years of experience in the field of civil engineering with

exclusive research in construction management, disaster management

& structural engineering in Pakistan and around the globe

Prof. Syed M. Ahmed- ECU, USA has over 26 years of education,

research and industry experience. He is an OSHA certified trainer

and has been disbursing education related to construction safety

for the last 20 years in the USA and around the globe

Ar. Ejaz Ahed- Ahed Associates is an architect who started his

professional career with the Chicago office of Skidmore Owings

and Merrill (SOM). He has held office at Pakistan Environmental

Planning and Architectural Consultants (C). With over 38

years of experience, his portfolio of projects planning and

designing of Pakistan Steel Township, PIC Building in Karachi

and the Habib Bank Tower in Islamabad’s blue area, Habib

University City campus, City Hall project, Islamabad. He is

involved in education, extensive social work and has served

the profession of architecture in numerous capacities

through the Institute of Architects, Pakistan and served as

Honorary Secretary to Architects Regional Council Asia

(ARCASIA) and represented Pakistan at numerous Forums.

Engr. Sohail Bashir- Saita Pakistan Pte. Ltd serves as

Head of Engineering and directly oversees all the HSE

issues operations in Pakistan. He has over 29 years of

experience in the implementation of multidisciplinary

mega projects of various sectors in Pakistan & overseas.

He has developed a HSE culture in the company to

achieve ZERO Accidents on all projects.

Engr. Ariff Ul Islam- AAA Partnership Pvt Ltd. He is

CEO& Director of the company, having 24 years of

experience in the disciplines of Structural Design, Geo-

technical Investigation, Design &Inspection, Project &

Construction Management and Quality Control

procedures for Construction. He has had Professional

affiliations with Pakistan Engineering Council, American

Concrete Institute & Construction Specification Institute.

Dr. Muhammad Asim- Nazeer Hussain University is Associate Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences Dept.

Over a period of 16 years he has been associated with

various institutions such as Karachi University Business

School, UoK, Allama Iqbal Open University, NED UET, ICMAP Dr. Salman Azhar- Auburn University, USA. He is an

associate professor at McWhorter School of Building

Science, Auburn University, USA. He has over 18 years of

experience in the field of construction engineering &

management with state of the art knowledge about BIM & its

application in the US AEC Industry.

Engr. Mazhar Ul Islam- Techno Legal Consultants (Pvt) has

35 years’ experience including 14 years in Saudi Arabia & 1.5

years with TURNER with specialty in Project Management/

Engineering procurements/contracts & costs. He has had

affiliations with a number of international & national firms such

as Techno Legal Consultants (Pvt) Limited, PICC, Turner

Construction International LLC Islamabad office- Pakistan, NESPAK,

Lahore, Ministry of Defense, Saudi Arabia

Engr. Kishwer Naz- M/S Arabtec is a Project Engineer with a

10 year experience of overseeing all projects including 3D ISD /2D

models. Detailing of Integrated shop drawings of multimillion‐ dollar

construction of Steel & RCC infrastructure projects for US clients. She is

experienced in managing teams in BIM & Bridge Information Modeling,

Estimations, Steel detailing on AISC &Rebar detailing on CRSI standards

Prof. Rizwan U. Farooqui - NED UET is a Professor and Co- Chairman,

Department of Civil Engineering, NED University of Engineering & Technology.

He has over 14 years of research, teaching & construction industry experience

in the USA, Pakistan, Singapore & Ethiopia. His specialty areas include design-

construction integration, risk management, construction safety, ICT based

planning and control.
