PET Resin

• Developments in resin chemistry have historically

enable the production of composite parts which are

stronger, lighter and have lower overall unit costs

• Environment, cost and properties are key elements to

be considered for the production of unsaturated

polyester resins synthesized from the glycolisys of

PET.

• Ashland has dedicated considerable amount of

research to develop a family of UPR resins containing

post-consumer and/or post-industrial PET which is

already available for a number of applications
