Taking Orders
1. Be sure to know what food items are on the menu.
2. Present the menu to the guest in a way that the guest could easily open and read the contents.
3. Give the guest enough time to read the menu folder and make a choice.
7. Do not attempt to memorize orders and do
away with paper and pen.
6. Summarize all orders before leaving the
guests.
5. Give suggestions when guests ask for assistance or when the opportunity arises.
4. Talk orders systematically.
