Executive Summary
Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship is a non-profit organization established in 2004 to help develop Technology Entrepreneurship in Jordan. The Center is part of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, and plays the role of a national Center of Excellence for Entrepreneurship.
As part of QRCE strategic plan, the Center is implementing a comprehensive initiative focusing on four key areas: Networking, Recognition & Awareness, Capacity Building & Support, and Funding.
Over the last 10 years, the center has organized many activities that benefited thousands of entrepreneurs, professionals & students in Jordan. QRCE key programs are: Queen Rania National Entrepreneurship Competition (QRNEC); Industry University Linkage Competition & Program (MIJ); Entrepreneurship University Clubs (DART) ; Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW).

QRNEC Program - Objectives
A unique training & mentoring program that runs over 3 months in which participants are selected to be engaged in an intensive sessions to achieve specific goals.
These goals are focused on encouraging, developing and sustaining their entrepreneurial spirit and improving their management capabilities.
Training Components will be delivered through series of workshops over 2 weeks period. This will be followed by mentoring sessions for 2 weeks period.
The program will assist Jordanian technology startups to grow and develop their operations, and move the companies to the next level of maturity.
QRNEC Program - Concept
• The competition is designed to:
Create more awareness on potential opportunities in technology startups and recognize innovative and outstanding technology business ideas, plans and startups
Develop entrepreneurial skills for the competition participants and help them in developing their business plans
Foster the entrepreneurial spirit in university technical and business students and graduates, and encourage them to take their projects from the concept level to the implementation level
