REAL-TIME INTELLIGENT VIDEO ANALYTICS (IVA)

Architecture
QNAP IVA solution is running based on an "agent" mechanism.
"Agent" means a non-NVR external device which processes an additional function. In the IVA application, the agent is an NVR client PC.
Once you install the IVA software (IVAManager) on the NVR client PC, the NVR client PC will take the IVA agent role to analyze the live video and to deliver the results to the QNAP NVR so it can trigger necessary actions.
As long as the NVR client PC is displaying videos from cameras, it can analyze those videos.
The agent mechanism allows users to have the convenience of additional functions without impacting the main role of the NVR – recording.

Installation
Step1: Click on the IVA button. System will automatically direct to QNAP website for downloading “IVAManager.exe”。
Installation
Step2: Install and run "IVAManager.exe" on the NVR client PC.
Step2: Click on the IVA button again to start configuring the IVA settings.

If the camera’s connection to the NVR is interrupted due to
an unstable network or another unexpected condition...

when the connection is disrupted.
