Based on Chinese medicine, the massage techniques normalize touch and stimulate self-regulation; children feel more comfortable and more receptive to connecting to others. Eye contact, sensory problems, tantrums, sleep, digestive issues and behavior improve. Under the guidance of trained therapists, treatment is given daily at home by parents and weekly or bi-weekly by the therapist. Results after 5-months of treatment have shown: Improved sleep, digestion and sensory awareness More eye contact and social connection Easier transitions and fewer meltdowns Decreased behavior problems and aggression Improved social skills and language Cost Course fee: $1900 includes initial training and 4 months of clinical supervision Participants are responsible for additional costs related to travel to initial training in Adelaide Learn • Theory of QST Massage • 12 Movements of QST Massage • How to tailor the massage to each child • Teach, coach and support parents to give QST massage Research Proven Treatment For Autism Training in Qigong Massage for Children with Autism
