Q de festa!prevention and risk reduction in nightlife settings

Q de festa! is a project by the Catalan Government to reduce and prevent health related risks in nightlife settings

This project is a member of Party+: European Network for Safer Party Labels. This is a network that links Catalunya with three other projects in Europe: Fêtez Clairs (France) Quality Nights (Belgium) and Saferclubbing (Switzerland).

Q de festa! is a label given to those places that offer some specific services for the promotion of quality and wellbeing.

Q de festa! has certain services that are considered to be basics. These basic services are the ones that have to be offered in order to be part of the label. In addition to these, there are other services that are recognised by the label.

• Information stand display with leaflets about health, drug consumption and other risky behaviour.

• Resources aimed at preventing drink driving.

- Provision of (ideally) healthy food at the bar or in vending machines.

- A safe space to store clothes and other personal possessions.

‐ Venues subsidise the cost of public transport for partygoers or provide their own.

- Emergency medical assistance available in the setting.
