Q3 – What kind of media institution might distribute your product and why

We could distribute of thriller using the UK Company Metrodome Group LTD via their microwave mini budget filmmaking scheme where you get £100,000 and 18 days to produce the film. This would suit our thriller, as it is a small film  The thriller could then be viewed by digital cinema distribution and online media services such as love film and Netflix. The use of synergy would be effective as our young audience is know for using online film services as they are more continent. In a recent survey it was asked to young people aged 16-24 how would they rater watch a film and the result was that they would rather watch it after the cinema on DVD Marketing the film would mainly rely on social media networks and other online media formats such as YouTube. This engages audiences by using the technique of cross media convergence to connect.  The reason for distributing and producing our film this way is because this is a small institution that works with lots of small films and also from their previous film releases has a history of thriller films.
