The language used is slang, so that it sits the target audience.
Sans Serif text is used as it suits the genre of being a POP text. On both covers the title’s are in their own text and this text is not used anywhere else on the magazine.

Both have 3 columns, this is so that the features are evenly spread out an aren’t too big or too small.The style of the language used is slang, and very short words this is so that it suits the target audience.
The use of colour is the same colour scheme as used on the front cover, this is so that even if the contents page was apart from the magazine you would still be able to tell which magazine it had come from.
