I was very excited. This was the first time I went on a trip without my parents.
I looked out of the window as the bus rolled along. There were paddy fields as far as
the eyes could see. “Look, Preema!” I said and pointed out some paddy planters atwork.
We came to a bridge. “Look to your left, children,” said Puan Hasnah. “Do
you see the river?” she asked. “That’s Sungai Kelantan.”
As we drove along, we came to a junction. Then, the bus turned right and
wewent uphill. “Oh! I feel sick,” said Preema as the bus went over another bump.
Luckily, the bus stopped after a short ride. We all got down and breathed inthe fresh air. Then, we heard the sound of falling water. We lined up and the
teachers
gave each of us a printed worksheet. We followed our teachers towards the
entrance
of the park. Puan Hasnah pointed out plants and flowers as we walked along the jungle path. We ticked off each item on our printed worksheet.
After a short walk, we arrived at the waterfall and posed for pictures.
