MODEL SFS-90CThis rugged and versatile system makes available, at minimum expense, a professional firing system for the pe son just getting into electrical firing of displays. This system provides ninety firing positions, which is adequate for most displays.

With Pyro Magic’s distribution networks, the SFS-90C may be used as a set piece firing system or as a stage system for special effects. The SFS-90C includes all of the special features of the larger systems.

MODEL SFS-30 PROFESSIONAL STANDARD FIRING SYSTEMThis small firing system is perfect for use with indoor special effects, as a line item firing system or for use with pre-set aerial shell firings. With the use of splitter boxes, slave splitters and short aerial distribution strips, it can have as much firepower as its bigger brothers.

With the Optional LED indicators, you may instantly test all hooked positions. When actually firing the show, each position LED will extinguish indicating the remaining unfired circuits. This allows you to segment your show and fire positions in any order.

System is supplied with a 100ft cable and your choice of a 16ft. Distribution strip or a standard slave box. Note. Requires an external 24V DC power source.

SPECIAL EFFECTS AND SET/DEVICE FIRING SYSTEMSThese electrical firing systems are especially designed to facilitate the firing of ground sets, line items and spe-cial effects. This system is particularly versatile when used with the Pyro Magic Splitter Box Assembly (Model 30/32).

SET FIRING SYSTEM MODEL GSFS-12This system is a low priced starter system for those operators just getting into electrical firing. May be used for stage special effects firing system, special aerial shots, model rockets or class C devices. Comes with a 4 foot long distribution slat and 100 feet of cable. SPECIAL DISTRIBUTION STRIP OPTIONS

• Option (I): All black quick-release Pyro Clips with each fifth position marked with a red Pyro Clip. This op-tion makes it easier to count and mark cued positions.

• Option (II): Reversed Numbering. Cue number 1 is located at the end of the strip farthest from the input connector. Should a detonation occur, the remaining cues could still be fired as they wouldn’t have been af-fected. This allows the show to progress with minimum ‘black sky’. These strips have all red Pyro Clips with each fifth position marked with a black Pyro Clip. This makes it easier to identify as a non-standard strip.

• Option (III): Same as option ll, but with all black Pyro Clips and each fifth position marked with a red Pyro Clip.

These options are provided for customer convenience at no additional charge. Please specify the option that best meets your needs when placing order. Systems are normally shipped with the 16ft. SPECIAL DISTRIBUTION STRIP OPTIONSDistribution Slats to supplement Pyromate FM-45 Yellow Distribution Modules. All Aluminum Slats available in foldable 16ft. or 24ft. lengths. Outputs protected with heavy duty 6 amp diodes.

Pyro Magic now has special distribution strips (slats or rails) and slave boxes, that are directly compatible with the ‘Fire One’ computer shooting system. Now you can have the versatility of computer firing, and the rugged-ness of the Pyro Magic distribution strips (slats). Each strip has 32 positions, with Red and Black quick-release Pyro Clips (see options above). Strips are available in 8ft. 12ft., 16ft. and 24ft. lengths. All strips are foldable to half – length for storage and transportation. Strips may be plugged directly into the output of the decoder mo ule, for maximum fire power, or, short extension cables may be purchased so that the decoders are away from the fallout area, or be covered for rain protection. SPECIAL 10 POSITION SLATS. These slats are intended for shows where there are less than 10 firings per slat. They work well for frontline usage or for the big guns. We can number them from 1 to 10, 11 to 20 or 21 to 30. This method frees up more 30 or 32 position slats. They can save storage space and money. Slats have a thirty-six pin Amphenol connector that plugs into a computer decoder. With an Aerial Triple Splitter and three 10 position slats (1-10, 11-20 and a 21-30) you can spread out fronts or pick up more big gun shots, 30 positions maximum. They may be used with Pyro Magic’s Firing Systems also.

It is set up to be plugged into the end of a standard aerial cable or, a FireOne Decoder box may be permanently mounted in a special pocket that’s built into the case. PORTABLE POWER SUPPLIES

DC POwER UNIT MODEL DC24C-HD (HEAVY DUTY)

This portable power source has the capability of providing 24VDC. Designed as a power source for all Pyro Magic Firing Systems that require an external power input. Batteries are nominally rated at 18.0 amp/hours, but will supply very high amounts of current upon demand. This power unit is recommended as the power source for systems with the special LED Test feature, or when two or three panels are ganged together, to fire larger displays.

DC POwER UNIT MODEL DC24C-S (MEDIUM DUTY)The DC24C-S has one half the power potential of the DC24C-HD. The rechargeable lead-acid batteries are nominally rated at 9 amp/hours. They will provide enough power to fully check out and fire smaller displays. These units may be used as a backup power source in the event of battery failure, or over use, before recharging.

NOTE: All Pyro Magic Battery Supplies feature “gelled” lead acid rechargeable cells. These batteries have very good ‘recovery after deep discharge’ characteristics. It should be noted that any ‘dry’ lead-acid battery should always be re-charged within 24 hours, after use, to prevent an individual cell of going into a state of high resistance. This will prevent the battery from taking a charge and render it virtually useless. Up to three panels may be ‘ganged’ (daisy chain fashion) together off of one power unit. The DC24C-S and DC24C-HD have enough current capacity to fire more than 15 ignit-ers at one time.

Battery Power Cable: Eight-foot cable has ‘Pigmy Hippo’ clips on one end and ‘Banana Jacks’ on the other end. This cable works best for customer-supplied batteries to the DC input of any Pyro Magic system.

UNIVERSAL MANUAL CABLE AND SYSTEM TEST FIXTURE MODEL LCT-101

When plugged into an output connector, on the rear of the fire control panel, an LED light illuminates each po-sition, as the probe is moved from pin to pin. Aerial cables may be tested by plugging the cable into the appro-priate connectors, on the test fixture, and pushing the corresponding position number. Two internal 9 V DC batteries supply the power to illuminate each LED light indicator as the appropriate button is pushed.This test box will show shorted lines, an open lines and crossed lines. The multiple ground lines are also checked for continuity.

TESTING lAMPSThese lamps may be used for live continuity testing to help indicate open or shorted positions on most any dis-tribution network . Lamps operate from 6 to 28 Volts. ECONOMY CABLE TESTERThis device plugs into the female end of a cable with the male end plugged into any system output. With the system set in the Test mode, the probe is drawn down the pins and each position, with continuity, will sound the test beeper. With the LED indicators, just push the test button and all lines, with continuity, will leave the green LED on.

AIRBURST MIXER ADAPTERThis adapter assembly allows you to move sequentially down the panel while mixing the locations-on a distribution slat. The use of a 16 foot or 24 foot slat for indoor airbursts (and falls) will greatly reduce setup time. The slat can be pre-loaded at stage level and then "flown" to a predetermined height. Two slats, a model SBA102 Splitter Box Assem-bly and the model ABMOI Mixer can cover a total distance of 48 feet (or 32 feet if using the16foot slats) of stage area.
