WHAT ’S OUR LOGO ABOUT ?

pure lovepure love

Branding is important. It sets a business apart from another. Pure Love’s brand aesthetic is slightly feminine, and while the logo form is static, the colors are dynamic based on context and unique to each product. Patterns of pastures are incorporated into the logo, to give a farm-like feel.

STRIPE PATTERN

PACKAGING ILLUSTRATIONS

Drawn from the texture in our logo is a simplified striped pattern. We like using this pattern to add some depth and excitement to our packaging and other branded items!

Each packaging product we sell illustrates the “love” aspect of our identity, with a modified heart illustration. Each special icon gives the heart a personality of whatever delicious product you buy.

ACCENT COLORS

Think pastel, with an extra punch. Extremely bright, saturated colors will cause grief to the eyes behind the text. Slightly desaturated colors, on the other hand, will look great. The illustration of the farmhouse must be the same hue as the outline, but a lighter tint. Imagine an almost white shade, with a touch of the outline’s color.

Homestead is the display text used, which is a huge part of our identity itself. The pasture-like texture on the typeface is important in referencing our vast farms. The display style is used for- you guessed it- display text! It is always paired with the regular style shadowing behind it in one of our brand’s colors. We sometimes use Homestead regular as a sub-display, which can be used successfully on its own.

Mr. Eaves is the typeface we use for all other content. It’s simple, yet organic shapes bring a playful feel to our products, but still allow for legibility. We use three weights throughout our graphic identity- Bold italic, bold, and regular. Mr. Eaves curvy shapes compliment well with the rigid and more detailed Homestead type.

our goalour goalto keep cows happy & healthy

We think everyone should treat cows like family. They do so much for us, give us so much, so we should be grateful for them! We make sure our cattle live like kings and queens- we have rules we follow to ensure healthy cow living. What makes this even better? The fact that you are consuming healthier, too! Eating organic dairy means you get to skip the chemicals and other unfortunate additives. It’s a win-win situation!

GRASS FEDMany diary and meat processors feed cows corn, which is not a natural or healthy diet for them! It actually causes enormous problems in a cow, and even disease. Corn diets are much more popular than grass diets because corn is cheaper, and bulks cattle up. A major problem is that cows get calcium from grass Calcium in corn-fed cows’ milk has no useful nutritional value.

NOT OVER-MILKED.Over-milking cows is another technique used by mass-producers of animal products. A fine poisons company created an injection that forces cows to produce more milk. Over-milking causes cows extreme pain, and can lead to serious medical conditions, especially with injections. Doing this also affects us- milk will not be clean like it should be, and can contain bacteria.

NO CHEMICALSChemicals are obviously bad for cows and us. The majority of cattle are unfortunately treated with chemicals and given growth hormones. We make sure we are getting our dairy totally naturally, and don’t add any chemicals or additives. We think there should be no exception for compromising an animal’s health.

cows should be treated like

Additional to the fact that we keep cows physically healthy, we keep them mentally healthy, too! Unlike most mass-producing farms, our animals roam free among our miles of farmland. Instead of confining them to a cubicle their entire life, they have room to live normal, happy lives. This is the way things are meant to be, and how we do things at Pure Love dairy farms.

adopt-a-cowadopt-a-coweventevent

To promote our all-natural dairy products and the healthy living of cattle, we have decided to hold an “Adopt-a-cow” promotional event. Families can visit our scenic farms and meet cows on the land. People then have the option of adopting a cow, which will help support the healthy lifestyles of our animals. When you adopt a cow, you’ll receive your dairy products from your new family member. Now, you can really know your dairy.
