newspapers.

Accidents………… One word, Which can change the life of one individual or society suddenly from normal to tragedy. In Tamilnadu, last year around 66,238 accidents were happened. Among them, 63,238 accidents were happened due to the fault of driver (See Table). These faults may include like drunk and drive, sleeping of driver while driving., etc

We want to reduce the accidents due to the sleeping of the drivers.

They want to reduce the accidents due to the sleeping of driver, So they imagine to construct a low cost sleeping alert system for drivers.

Whenever a person starts to sleep, definitely his head lost its balance and starts to bend.

They find concepts from their book to construct the device.They find two principles from their 8th std science book.

1.The salt water conduct the electricity.2.The pressure of the liquid is equal for equal depth(i.e height).

Final version of the device:Do…..

This is the final form the device. In horizontal position only, it will not make any sound. While the vehicle driver starts to sleep , his head will definitely bend . Then the device will make the sound. This sound will alert the driver and it will avoid the accidents.

We modified our device by fitting this inside the engineer’s safety helmet.
