ACTUAL MODEL: Scilog, Expert , Digital
Benchtop analog drives provide continuous-duty operation with
Micropump® A-mount pump heads. Gradual, one-second acceleration
offers smooth control of drive speed and flow rate.
The permanent-magnet, direct-current (PMDC) drive is built to last, so
is excellent for long-term applications.
Benchtop digital drives have calibrate, copy, and dispense features,
which produce precise, pulseless batching and dispensing.
Displacement and flow values for all Micropump® A-mount pump
heads are stored in memory - simply enter the pump head size (gear
code) to retrieve the displacement per revolution. An IP23-rated
enclosure protects the internal components. The controller has a
DB15F connection to the optional foot switch for hands-free on/off
control.
Scilog Expert Micropump
1. Toggle on/off on rear of case.
2. Use digital screen and Set to Manual mode
3. Push RATE button and use up/down arrows
to set pump at 60% for startup and priming.
4. Select RUN to start pump, STOP to halt.
5. After source line fills to pump head and
priming is complete, adjust pump rate to
desired level.
6. Use lowest rate possible to avoid excessive
pressure in connecting lines.

Drives
Variable-speed reversible drive has permanent
magnet DC motor and solid-state control. Tubing
diameter and pump head determine flow rate.
Toggle switch controls flow direction, potentiometer
controls flow rate/drive speed and red light
indicates power.

Polysulfone housings contain stainless steel roller
assembly.

Silicone tubing withstands 1.4 bar (20 psi)
pressure when operated for up to 20 hours at 500
RPM. Tygon® tubing withstands 1.4 bar (20 psi)
pressure when operated for up to 40 hours at 500
RPM. Norprene® tubing withstands 1.4 bar (20
psi) pressure when operated up to 1,000 hours at
500 RPM. Extend tubing life by operating at lower
pressures and slower RPM.

Separate speed control and on/off/reverse switch with inertia center

These variable flow peristaltic pumps provide precise delivery. They are compact
and ideal for applications in liquid chromatography, fraction collection,
fluids/buffers circulation in baths, and corrosive material movement. Bidirectional,
self-priming pumps provide outstanding flow control and flexibility for transferring
and dosing liquids. Fluid contacts only the tubing for contamination-free pumping.
Flow rates range from 0.005 to 600mL/min. Variable speed flow control and five
tubing sizes allow a wide flow range and fine resolution. Revolution of one roller
delivers a precisely measured volume specific to the tubing size and motor
speed.
Tubing can be used with fluids –62 to 260°C (–80 to 500°F). Tubing is
autoclavable for use with food, pharmaceutical, and other critical solutions.
Pumps liquid or gas, and pumping dry is not harmful to unit. The pump has a
purge/prime switch for high speed emptying/filling. It also reverses at the touch of
a switch for easy draining. Three rollers reduce flow pulsation, prevent siphoning,
and eliminate the need for check valves. There are no valves to clog or seals to
leak. Housed in a chemical-resistant ABS plastic case. For 115V operation.

This diaphragm vacuum pump provides excellent operating reliability and is suitable for
use with the Büchi evaporators. All components that come in contact with solvent vapors
are made of highly resistant materials, including PTFE membranes, and glass heads.
Suction volume 1.6 m3/h and final vacuum 10 mbar, make this pump suitable for many
applications in the laboratory. Integrated switch box automatically switches the pump on or
off according to vacuum demand prolonging pump life. Optional Woulff flask may be
connected in front of pump as a vacuum reservoir to protect pump from liquids
accidentally sucked into vacuum line.

An alternative to hand pipetting, this unit fills bottles, vials, and other containers. For
automatic operation, a variable delay 0.5 to 60 seconds can be set between doses. The
single speed peristaltic pump can dispense liquids ranging in viscosity from aqueous
solutions to medium syrups with accuracy to ±1% at mid-range. The Unispense µP
records the number of doses to form a ready reference. An audible signal at the end of
the filling cycle eliminates the need for visual monitoring.
