Notification Template

Template: The properties and settings for the notifications. The notification template defines:

Due Date Equals 5 Days before TODAY's Date OR

Reminder Notification Filter Criteria

For DDE reminder notifications, the Filter Criteria is composed by OR-ing all the rules' criteria that are associated with the DDE Generate Notification action

Search Criteria = Reminder Criteria AND Filter Criteria

Reminder Notification Publish

The reminder notification is published on a scheduled basis - currently once per day - whenever the search criteria are met

The notification emails are being rendered with one record per email

Reminder notifications are a great choice for sending notification emails when you want to monitor records and only send notification emails when certain record specific criteria are met without saving the record

Mail Merge Terminology

Report Template The Microsoft Word template containing merge

fields.

Merge Field A placeholder that uses field codes to instruct

Microsoft Word to insert content in the document.

Mail Merge Template The RSA Archer platform object where the Report

Template resides and is used upon export.

Alias Unique name that identifies a platform object or

component.

Source The record from which the export is initiated.

Region Designated by two merge fields marking the

beginning and end of the region. It allows portions of the document to dynamically grow based on the content being inserted.
