ARRANGEMENT IS THAT IT ALLOWS FOR THE DISCHARGE OF WASTEWATER
DIRECTLY INTO THE SLUDGE ZONE NEAR THE BOTTOM OF THE TANK FROM
WHERE IT FLOWS UPWARDS TO BE COUNTERCURRENT WITH THE SOLIDS THAT
TRY TO SETTLE DOWNWARDS,THEREBY KEEPING A SLUDGE BLANKET IN A
FLOATING STATE NEAR THE BOTTOM OF THE TANK. SUCH A COUNTERCURRENT
ARRANGEMENT WITH RESPECT TO THE SETTLING SOLIDS ENSURES THE
MAXIMIZATION OF CONTACT BETWEEN THE SLUDGE CONTAINING THE ANAEROBIC
BACTERIAL MAT AND THE WASTEWATER. THIS ARRANGEMENT RESULTS IN
HIGHLY EFFICIENT REMOVAL OF THE SOLIDS AND BOD IN THE SEPTIC TANK.
THE PRESENT INVENTION ALSO ALLOWS FOR AN UPGRADATION IN THE METHOD
OF CLEANING OF A SEPTIC TANK OVER THE CONVENTIONAL METHOD WHICH
CONSISTS OF A COMPLETE WITHDRAWAL OR EMPTYING OF THE SETTLED AND
DIGESTED SLUDGE BY ENFORCING A PLANNED SHUTDOWN OF THE WHOLE
FACILITY AND DIVERTING THE WASTEWATER DURING THE PERIGD OF
CLEANING. IN THIS NEW DESIGN, THE SLUDGE WITHDRAWL IS PERFORMED BY
OPENING OF A TELESCOPIC SLUDGE WITHDRAWL VALVE, WHICH SHALL FORCE
THE ACCUMULATED SLUDGE, UNDER HYDRAULIC HEAD, TO MOVE THROUGH A
LATERAL PIPE INTO A SLUDGE WITHDRAWL PIT WHEREFROM THE SLUDGE SHALL
BE WITHDRAWN FOR SUBSEQUENT DEWATERING AND DISPOSAL. THIS PROCESS
OF SLUDGE REMOVAL CAN TAKE PLACE WHILE THE SEPTIC TANK IS IN
OPERATION. THE NEW DESIGN ONLY ALLOWS THE HEAVY DIGESTED SLUDGE AT
THE BOTTOM OF THE SEPTIC TANK TO BE DISCHARGED OUT INTO THE SLUDGE
WITHDRAWL PIT. THUS, DECANTING OF THE DIGESTED SLUDGE FROM THE TANK
FACILITATES RETAINING OF SOME QUANTITY OF SLUDGE INSIDE THE TANK

study was done to evaluate the most potent antioxidant and
-hydroxy-Pmethylglutaryl-CoA reductase (HMGR) inhibitor from
sequentially extracted fraction of Ficus virens Ait., as well as to
isolate and purify the bioactive compound responsible for these
activity. Our results shows that of all the sequentially extracted
fraction of F. virens bark and leaves extract, F. virens bark
methanol extract exhibits strong radical scavenging and antioxidant
activity. In addition, F. virens bark methanol extract, which is
non- cytotoxic, significantly and most potently inhibit the HMGR
activity (IC50=3.45+-0.45 ug/ml) in comparison to other extracts.
Further, the most potent bioactive fraction F18 was isolated from
Ficus virens bark methanolic extract as a reddish brown crystal and
subjected to IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and mass spectroscopy analysis to
identify this compound. Our data showed it as a novel compound, n-
Octadecanyl-0- -D-glucopyranosyl (6+1) -0- -D-glucopyranoside with
a molecular weight of 594, that exhibits significant HMGR
inhibitory activity in vitro (98.5%) at 5pg/ml and demonstrated
uncompetitive mode of inhibition against HMGCoA reductase.
Moreover, the in vivo hypolipidemic activity of FVBM extract and
compound isolated therefrom were also evaluated against Tyloxapol
induced hyperlipidemia in rats. The inventor for the first time
reported a significant reduction in TC, TG and LDL-C with a
increase in HDL-C level in FVBM extract (500 mglkg & 1000 mgkg)
and pure bioactive compound (10mgkg) treated rats when compared to
Tyloxapol induced hyperlipidemic control rats. These findings
suggest that the extract or the bioactive compound isolated
therefrom could be used in the treatment of risk factor induced

Satellite Transmitter (BSAT) for underwater vehicles. Embodiments

herein is a method for receiving data from an underwater vehicle
via contact less communication, the BSAT placed in a sealed
enclosure, wherein the BSAT comprises of an electronic controller;
an IR interface; a GPS comprising of a receiving chip and L-Band
antenna; S-band antenna for satellite communication , a conducting
logic comprising of three pins; a memory to store data; and an
ejection means; wherein the method comprises of ejecting the BSAT
from the vehicle by the ejection means, on detecting a pre-defined
condition in the underwater vehicle. Also, disclosed herein is a
black box recorder for an underwater vehicle performing the method

pervading every spere of applications in the world. Alternate
technologies are being adopted to existing applications to save
energy. BLDC motor technology is one such technology which is being
slowly and steadeily adopted into air moving, pumping and
compressor applications inplace of century old single phase
induction motor. Worldover this technology is being adopted for
mundane ceiling fan application as well. Most of the ceiling fans
accross the world are external rotor motors which is a very
convenient and cost effective topology for this application. When
they are adopted into the new BLDC technology they continue to be
external rotor motors. Under such a situation the rotor will have
to carry the permanent magnet on its surface. The state of the art
in achieving this objective are 1) glueing a costly multipole rare
earth ring magnet on to the rotor core, in which case motor will be
costly. (Casting large ring magnets to the diameter of ceiling fan
requirement, using cermaic magnets is not possible). 2) gluing a
number of low cost sintered ceramic segment magnets on to the rotor
core to form a multipole rotor, which is process intensive and
requires long time for curing after gluing 3) use plastic fixture
as a positive support for inserting or sliding magnets into the
rotor core, in which case the magnet has to be of a specific shape,
which might have to be a compromise on the resulting performance of
the fan 4) In Versa Drives Pvt Ltd, both rotor core, in the form of
segmented strips, and magnets are glued to the rotor body or bottom
cover. This method has been reported in our earlier patent
application no 3505/CHE/2012. This method, though less in material
usage is highly process intensive and costly, thus reducing the
productivity considerably. The performance of the fan is dependent
on the accuracy and quality of gluing. The air gap consistency
depends on this. More over it requires a special purpose machine to
glue the segments and magnets. An improved method of rotor
production, which will reduce process time, process cost,
considerably, with out compromising on the total cost and
performance of the end application is welcome. The proposed
invention is one such method which meets the above requirements.
